Our family had a wonderful stay in this beautiful lake front home! It was comfortable and roomy enough for all 11 of us to enjoy family meals, games, and a relaxing time together. We loved the quiet mornings with knitting and coffee watching the lake activity from the sunrooms, went for afternoon walks along the beach, strolled to an amazing park with our grandchildren just down the street, went geocaching just a few blocks away, and enjoyed Gooey sundaes at the resort just a 10 minute walk away. The kitchen was clean and well stocked with all the pans, dinnerware, and utensils we needed, the bedrooms were comfortable and beautifully decorated, there were shelves of toys, books, games, and puzzles. Extras like umbrellas, beach chairs, and window seat cushions were thoughtfully available. All in all a beautiful stay for our family gathering.

Perfect home for multiple generations. Warm and cozy… decorated for Christmas holiday; piano available for music; puzzles available; great kitchen; and incredible views of Lake Coeur d’Alene.Very good communication with host and management. Our cousin from Australia just came off a 41 day cruise and wanted to see some sights out west in the US. Glacier National Park was our first stop, then we spoiled him with this beautiful home on the shore of Lake Coeur d'Alene. The host graciously allowed us to check in early. The house was walking distance to restaurants, shops, and the marina. We gave our cousin the master suite and he loved looking out at the lake. We enjoyed using the sun rooms for coffee in the morning and caught a football game one evening. The home was spotless, the beds were comfortable, and we found everything we needed for meals and drinks at home. It was so convenient having a laundry room in the basement. We would definitely come back. Thank you for sharing this treasure with us!

This house was a dream for our family vacation! It is roomy, comfortable, extremely well stocked, and in the absolute best location in town. Our adult kids loved the game room, and we all enjoyed hanging out in the sunrooms and the backyard. The hosts are the nicest people ever, and went way beyond to make sure everything was perfect for us. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and hope we can come back again!

Our favorite family reunion house anywhere!

We have stayed at the Gumprecht House several times and it is perfect for our family (18 months to 77!). The location is perfect, whether we are at the beach, out on the lake with our boat and wave runners, taking the kids to the very close park, playing pickle ball or strolling the streets of the lovely village. If not walking, our favorite mode of transportation is bicycling. The house is roomy and beautiful with 5 bedrooms and many sitting areas on the main floor. We shall be returning for many years to come!

Coure d’alene family vacation

My family and I came for the Ironman and this couldn’t have been a more perfect location! We were able to walk to all events besides being so close to downtown. Of course having the lake across the street and all the lake rentals near us was a bonus. If we ever come to this area again we will definitely see if this house is available!

Location, Location, Location. You cannot be better positioned than this property it was right in the center of everything that we had planned for my daughter’s week long wedding celebration. House had everything we needed lots of parking and the two sunroom are excellent people watching with early morning coffee or late evening bourbon. Would more than highly recommend and we would stay again

Thanksgiving 2024

Another great Thanksgiving with adult siblings and grand-kids. This house and location never disappoints even with the varying age groups. We love that this large older home tells a story and has tidbits of history framed and hanging on the walls. Plenty of room for conversation and catching up, a playroom downstairs for the kids is a plus. The house is well stocked with everything you would need in addition to being very clean.
