This is house a great hose for family gatherings. Location is near perfect for quick access to downtown Coeur d Alene via boat or to any of the nearby golf courses. Ideal Eastern side of the lake advantage with easy road access. Living room and kitchen is much bigger than photos appear. Everything was in working order makes for a very comfortable experience. The new dock is really nice and safe, not chance of slivers, great low access to the lake, you don't have to fight a bunch of stairs like so many other places. Definitely one of the better deals on the lake, we have stayed on CDA multiple times over the years at different places, this is probably our favorite so far. Only negative thing we found for us was shallow water areas in Kidd Island bay, its just a shallow bay in general if you know the lake, you can't dive off the dock or water toys (we had a water trampoline). But it was deep enough for our wake surf boat to pull up and dock at. If you're looking for a good location and spacious place with big rooms, this is it. Wifi and other amenities worked great. This neighborhood and the homes next to you are some of the finest homes and estates on the lake. Very private feel being at the end of the street.

Great family fun in an outstanding location. The home was beautiful but not very well cleaned.

Beautiful home with near the end of the road privacy. You can file four cars into the allotted spaces if you maneuver them around just right. We tried to get an early check-in on our arrival date, but were advised by the Vacasa Agency Rep that the residence was occupied and would not be available until after the current renters were out and the home was cleaned. However, upon arrival we were greeted by the home owner who advised us that we were the first renters of this season. We’re not sure if the Vacasa rep was confused or intended to deceive, but either way don’t expect an early check-in regardless of what the confirmation email tells you. The deck overlooks Kidd Island Bay and the views are outstanding. Perfect location to watch the annual fireworks show. However, the docks were filthy and unusable until we cleaned the goose droppings off the planks. The landscaping was disheveled and needing upkeep. The layout of the house was great with a large open concept kitchen/living area upstairs and a huge basement. However, once again cleanliness was a factor. We found spider webs and dead bugs throughout the house and it was evident from the hair on our socks after walking across the carpeted areas that there had been a dog in this house. This residence may have been cleaned at one time but it did not appear to have been done recently. We had to sweep the floors and clean the counters, which were dirty and dusty, before we could unpack and settle in. Well furnished with most everything we needed to prepare meals. Ample dishes, pots and pans, and also enough towels to accommodate our needs. The microwave worked intermittently, some of the shades were broken and would not roll up or down and the bar stools fell apart several times. None of the dead bolts worked and the sliding door in the basement would not lock, making it difficult to secure the residence. The couches in the living room were large and comfortable but the rug had a funny smell. The gas grill worked great but the decks were filthy; you could not lean up against the rails without coming away dirty. There were birds’ nests under one eave of the house where the droppings had culminated on the eave itself and onto the deck as well. Overall we worked through the cleanliness issues, brought in our own vacuum and cleaning supplies and left this residence far-cleaner than we received it. This is a lovely home and would show much better with some serious cleaning and ongoing maintenance.

Beautiful home right on the lake!

This home is spacious, comfortable, all rooms have beautiful views and it is right on the water. The master (and the 2nd master below) have on suites and floor to ceiling views of the lake. Kitchen is fantastic and the fire place is lovely once the sun goes down. 20 minutes from town so our teenagers could run in to get a burger or for easy trips to the movies, grocery store, etc. One note - there are ALOT of stairs, both to get from the car to the house, and then down to the lake. If you have physical challenges or very small children this would be something to consider. Overall, we loved this home, and will definitely be back!

Beautiful house and views

The house is amazing with great views. There was plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for five adults and a one year old. The kitchen was great but could use some additional cooking items such as (better) pots and pans. There was seating for eight people at the kitchen table but not much seating on the deck. The stairs to the lake are steep and might be difficult for some people. The place was in a great location, private, and was super quiet. The biggest complaint I have though was the cleanliness. When we arrived the bedding was in a pile on the floor and had to be washed, there were dead bugs and cobwebs throughout the house, furniture was dusty, the carpet was not vacuumed, and the deck needed to be swept off. It seemed as if they forgot to clean the house after the previous guest or that no one had been there in a while. Overall the house was wonderful and we would probably stay there again if it was cleaned up. We would give it a higher rating if those issues were addressed.

Great family vacation get-away!

I stayed here with my husband and teenage kids. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and have their own space, and the great room concept on the main floor allowed for games, meals, etc. all together. The house is spacious and beautiful, and on a quieter part of the lake. If you are looking for fun ON the lake, Harrison Boat Rentals was the perfect addition to our long weekend. Excellent customer service, nice boats and plenty of options.

Big House Lacking in Amenities

The location and size of the house are accurate. Items missing from the inventory included a .blender and hair dryer. Mirrors are not in all the bathrooms. Bed side night stands were limited. Black towels were new so when using them, black dye was all over the sink and shower area. This house is not for people who are physically challenged; too many stairs. Very limited outdoor furniture and none down by the lake. No wood for the fire pit. All in all, it felt like a business rental and not an owners personal property. The furniture is sparse and looks like it has been rented. No TV controls in the master bedroom. And most disturbing, no local channels on the flat screen down stairs....we were all prepared to watch NBA finals, but not available. The dock was covered in goose poo and in general disrepair. The walkway onto the deck needs repair immediately; it is sinking into the lake. We had a good time here, but we would not recommend it to friends.

Magnificent views and a great kitchen

We stayed at the lake house over memorial weekend, overall a great experience and the kids had lots of fun. The best view you could wake up to in the area, great kitchen and enough room for everyone. Harrison boats will deliver to your dock and camp fire for S'mores when you get back. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Nice House but could have been better

The Lakefront house was impressive at first sight and had an outstanding view. The house was well staged by the rental company but there were several details that prevented this property getting an outstanding rating. The items are as follows: 1. There was no closet available in the master suite. Typically those sleeping in the master suite are paying for the rental and to have them have to use another room's closet was disappointing. The closet in master suite had no doorknobs so I assume it was meant to be locked off from use. You should reconsider this. 2. There were several dead insects in the living room so we weren't sure when it was cleaned before our arrival. Not a big deal, but if you'rte charging top dollar it would be expected that dead insects, and for that matter bird feces on the deck railing would have been dealt with. 3. The heating cooling thermostat appeared to reset to a default schedule so that it was difficult to maintain a desired temperature, but perhaps we didn't know how to operate the device properly as well. 4. You may want to have a repair person look at the gas line for the fireplace as the flame was rather small. Customers would expect a larger flame for that epic lakeside experience. Overall the property was excellent, but attention to some further details would have had us raving about it to friends.

Great time on the water!

We rented a boat and had a blast. The house is in a great place to enjoy fishing and boating. Don't expect everything you have in your house when you arrive. The morning sun shines bright in the master so don't expect to sleep-in. There is a lot of room and the space could handle 8-10 people easily.

We very much enjoyed our stay in this lovely home. It was very comfortable for our group of 6. It was well stocked and the view incredible. We enjoyed being out on the deck and using the barbecue. This location was very quiet as well.
