Idyllic location and amazing home! This place had everything you could want for a family. It was comfortable and conveniently located right downtown. We are originally from the area and loved being able to walk right downtown from the house. Loved it and would recommend it to everyone and anyone traveling to Couer D Alene

Lovely location and property

Logistics were great: check-in, check-out, communication with the owner. Loved the location: public beach half a block away, Tubs Hill across the street, downtown a short walk/drive away, everything else nearby. The "cottage" was wonderful: had multiple fairly large groups of family over and the place handled it well, it was extremely well equipped and wonderfully decorated. Everything needed was handy. Bottom line: we're highly likely to come back for another trip and would recommend it, just as a friend did for us.

Hum!!!

1st I had difficulty getting in because the front door lock's battery was low and I had to try multiple times and make several calls to get a hold of someone while I was standing in the cold.2nd the master bedroom had a terrible hum all night from the hot tub heater we think. The wall actually vibrated too. We never did use the hot tub. Really liked the kitchen table and view and the LR little sitting area and view. Also it was great being right next to the Tubbs trail.

Loved this cottage by the lake

We loved our stay here. The cottage is very well-appointed and true to the listing. It was very comfortable and the loft rooms were fun. Plus the location is fantastic - the stunning 2-mile loop trail around Tubbs Hill is steps away, the neighborhood is beautiful, the lake is just across the street, and downtown is an easy walk. Hot tub on the deck was also a treat. Can’t be beat! I hope to return.

Six Sisters Reunion

The property and location was great. It was a little bit difficult for 4 sisters to stay upstairs with no bathroom. We did Tubbs Hill and the beach. We all had a very good time, enjoyed the hot tub and never once turned om the television. Thanks for sharing your wonderful cottage.

Our October 2024 Mini Getaway

This was a very relaxing, enjoyable getaway! This little cottage was perfect for us, great view of Lake Coeur d'Alene on a quiet, safe street and area. We absolutely loved this property and will try to book again in the future if we have another opportunity. We were in Coeur d'Alene for a wedding and the host even had a steamer available. The bride and her mom (me) were very grateful for that! We loved the view and sat each morning with coffee overlooking the lake.

Family Adventure in CDA

Perfect location! Steps away from the beach and Tubbs Hill and a quick walk to downtown restaurants and shops. The girls loved the access to the lake and the freedom to walk around in this quiet & safe neighborhood, the dog loved the little coves to splash around in the water and taking naps on the warm rocks and the wife and I loved the calm, simple life of the area and watching the moon move across the lake at night from the patio. Would highly recommend!

Perfect spot for young family

We came to CDA for my brother’s wedding. This cottage was a perfect location for us, as our kids are very young so being close to hiking and the beach made our visit to the area so much easier. My girls, ages 5 and 4, loved the tiny room that was just the right size for them. It’s a prime location and it had everything we needed.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. Just one issue was I always felt we were being watched. Cameras on the outside of the house, real-estate office and mothers house all facing property. Other than that I recommend this property for family.

Loved the house

The house and location were perfect. The house was very nicely stocked. It would have been nice to have sponges for washing pans. The corkscrew was broken. We had a lot trouble watching tv. The host was very responsive and tried to help, but we ended up having to use my log in. This procedure should be simplified with very clear step by step instructions. Overall, we loved our stay and would be rest this house again.
