Overall, we were satisfied with The Nook. Upon arrival we arrived to baked cookies, that was a sweet surprise! It was very hot, they did have 2 A/C units that were in the bedroom (however, there were no other windows they could be placed in, so the bedroom stayed cool just not the rest of the place). The upstairs loft was very hot as well. We did find a very dusty fan for the kids to use in the loft which helped. It’s not for 6 adults (we brought 3 teens plus an 11yr old), maybe 2 adults and 1 teen with 2 small kids). The bedroom is super cute, the bed was inviting, however definitely if 2 people are sleeping on it, it needs updated, you sink to the middle. Also, the lights from the main house shine in, not a huge deal, but personally I like it dark when I sleep. The 2nd/3rd day it cooled off, we had been at Silverwood all day , so were a bit chilly, I would recommend in the Winter that more linens be placed in closets, we made through since kids brought their own personal blankets, but could be an issue for someone else. The loft would be a blast for younger kids if some décor was added and railings for safety. If you’re looking for the fun star projector, check the kitchen closet! Again, we were satisfied, it was a home base just for eating, sleeping, then playing at Silverwood so worked out for us. The owner was nice and communicated great!
