We are a retired couple who love to travel and this place was perfect for us. It’s a little on the small side but that’s what we were looking for. Very clean. Very comfortable place to stay. There were deer in the yard every morning!

Great place in a nice neighborhood. Everyone we ran into was super friendly. As promised, we saw many deer walk up the street. We would definitely consider staying there again if ever back in the area.

Hidden Gem in Cody

We loved our stay at the Secret Cottage. Our family rented the Secret Cottage as well as the House of the 3 Bears. The Secret Cottage was clean and well-appointed. The kitchen had great appliances, including a washer and dryer. The furniture was very comfortable and the internet worked well.Communication with the host was easy and professional. All directions were easy to follow. Questions were answered clearly and promptly.The Secret Cottage is located within easy walking distance of downtown Cody. We had no problem navigating our stay. It was very nice to be able to walk to restaurants and shops rather than driving everywhere.We really enjoyed the wildlife that frequented the backyard. The multiple seating areas, fire pit, and swings for the kids encouraged us to spend a great deal of time outside.I highly recommend the Secret Cottage to anyone staying in Cody. If you have a large group, I recommend pairing it with the House of the 3 Bears. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

Everything was great except for surprise visitor

The stay itself was great. My boyfriend and I were on vacation and had gotten back late from Yellowstone on the last night of our stay. We got back and the lights were on and there was another car out front. The owner, Karen, overbooked, and there was another man in the house, thinking HE was supposed to be there. We checked our reservations and sure enough she had booked him to check in the night BEFORE we were supposed to check out. We were very lucky that this man was kind and honest, or else this situation could have gone VERY differently. Our stuff could have been stolen, or we could have been hurt. I would recommend messaging the owner after booking to CONFIRM that THEY have the correct dates and aren’t over booking.

Lovely little cottage!

Karen’s place is a wonderful place for a couple wanting to hang out in Cody for a few days! It is far enough off the Main Street to be quiet but an easy walk to everything! Everything was spotless and had everything necessary for a very relaxing stay!!! The bed was definitely the most comfortable we’ve stayed in besides our own in years!! Karen is a wonderful host and right next door if you need anything! We will definitely stay there again!

Week stay - October

Nice neighborhood. Clean facility. Very good for a couple. Trivial but would be nice to have a manual there for guidances on things like wash, dishes, TV, etc. Lots of little hand written mini notes stuck on things such as washer, TV stand, etc. but overall good stay.

Great secret cottage

Great location, nice neighborhood, quiet. One bedroom / bath. Full kitchen and living-room. On street parking in front of house. Clean. Owner is a great communicator. Three deer like to hang-out nearby.

Wonderful place to stay

Great place to stay if your travel brings you to Cody. Super close to all the local amenities, clean, convenient and well appointed. Would definitely stay here again.

Do not reccomend

House was dark. AC was one window unit in bedroom which was very loud. You could only open one window, the others were either screwed shut or had no screens. The doors had no screen doors. The bed was broken you slid to the middle if you tried to sleep in it. The backyard is a shared area with the house behind it. we never could get password to wifi. We contacted the owner and told her it wasn't where she said it was, she told us to take a pic of password and send it to her.

Quiet w/ Great Proximity to Downtown Cody

Quiet, safe neighborhood within walking distance to all the shops & restaurants in downtown Cody. Property felt a little stuffy and dark, even with the blinds and windows open. Great amount of space, though, for a small family. Kitchen could have used a few more things, like mixing bowls & sturdier utensils for cooking, and the mattress was a little soft for my taste, but comfortable. Great WiFi speed, good selection of channels through Spectrum cable. Within close driving distance to Cody and Powell, including hiking, fishing, museums, and sightseeing. Overall had a wonderful stay. Communication with the owner was fast and easy. Was even able to accommodate an early arrival, which I appreciated. Would definitely recommend.

AMAZING

First, the property is beautiful!!! I cannot wait to go back and stay again. Just off the beaten path so wildlife was crazy, but just close enough to town that you are right there. Clean, everything you need and lovely. We will be staying there again someday soon :)
