Nice location for the Surfing Santa’s and coconuts on the beach bar and restaurant . The family loved the Pac-Man game console and various other table games provided. We played a little yard mini golf and mini pool table game too. The swing and hammock with the fenced-in outside yard were an extra bonus. We even took a little bike ride and rode a few waves on the surfboard..super nice to have access to fun things to do.

Absolutely loved the place. It was close to everything we wanted to go check out. A few things were within walking distance. Which was a plus. They had everything you might need ready and available to use. Our dogs loved the backyard. I would highly recommend staying here. I would like to come back again if at all possible!

Only reason I’m rating this 4 is because there is no option for 4.8. I grew up in CB so I’m familiar with the area.. the location is prime for getting to all the restaurants and beach.. loved that we had the opportunity to use surfboards, bikes , hammock and all the outdoor amenities.. only thing is right now the mosquitoes are awful and we couldn’t enjoy the huge backyard because we were eaten alive..other than that great place.

Wonderful Little Duplex

My family and I loved this place! It was filled with things to keep us busy to include surf boards and beach supplies which saved us a ton! It was located near a lot of the restaurants and a grocery store. However, for a family of 8 with a dog the space was a little small.

A week in Cocoa

We really enjoyed our time at Hammock Hideaway, and made use of most of the features that the property offered.Our favorite time was at the beach and eating together as a family. We visited the beach everyday, as it was a two block walk. We were fortunate to catch a Falcon-9 launch.The property owner was very responsive and helpful.

It was dog friendly and close to the beach, from the backyard, we were able to see a night launch from KSC no problem. Lots of good places to eat nearby. Overall great place!!

Just what we needed

We were caring for our grandson during the day whilst our daughter went to a conference. The house is not cluttered and great for a very young child. We both grew up in south Florida and Cocoa is like visiting our grandparents houses. Concrete construction and tile floors. It had everything we needed and was full of toys for the kiddo. He loved the ping pong balls! Not fancy, but very easy and great for what we needed. Host was very helpful

Stayed here almost two weeks with no problems. Loved the screened porch and short walk to beach.Property was clean and located in a safe area. Many types and styles of restaurants super close.I would stay there again with no hesitation.

Outside house is very much like a shade, they board two broken window up, very unpleasant and weird. They should not rent it out if the window were broken. But the surrounding house is nice. The inside of house is nice and enjoyable.

Perfect Location & Responsive Host

Our stay at Cocoa Beach was perfect. The home was indeed walking distance to the beach and many local food/drink locations. Everything in the listing was exactly how we found it. We especially loved the ping pong table!We were please with how engaged and responsive Brian was through the entire process. He gave us meticulous instructions, sent recommendations of places to eat, and encouraged us to use the surf boards and house amenities. Our teenagers were very excited with all is the things on site such as fishing poles, bikes, surf boards, etc, and I appreciated the beach towels, coffee machine, and space! If you get a chance, I highly recommend you book a dolphin tour or boating experience with Brian! He is very friendly, and he truly made our trip special on the boat tour!

Great location, wonderful getaway

Our family had a great time at this property. We really enjoyed the location, as it is a short walk to a beautiful beach. The backyard is awesome. We made a fire in the fire pit. The property has all you need for a getaway, and we really enjoyed that the property owner shared equipment with us, such as boogie boards, skim boards, beach carts, chairs, etc. Also loved that we were able to bring our dog. Additionally, the property manager is very kind, super responsive, and easy to work with. Highly recommend this place!

Clean and comfortable throughout. Big backyard for the dogs to run and close to the beach where dogs are allowed mornings and evenings. Enjoyed using the grill. Many other amenities are provided. The host, Brian, is wonderful with excellent communication.

Amazing Family Vacation at the Hammock Hideaway!

We had an incredible stay at the Hammock Hideaway in Cocoa Beach, FL. There are so many activities included in the rental. We made use of the hammocks, kayaks, surf boards, fishing poles and so much more! Brian is the best host we have ever had any where we have stayed at. The home is stocked full of everything you could need for a beach vacation. It’s the perfect place to stay for a long family trip or even just a quick stay before hopping on one of the local cruise ships. I can’t imagine staying at a hotel. Here you have even the beach towels and life jackets provided for you! It is so close the the beach! Brian had great recommendations for local activies. There is so much to do within walking distance or you can use the bikes they provided. The only regret I had was not booking for longer! We hope to come back again in the future and we definitely will recommend it to all of our friends and family.
