1-When we checked in we surprised to see the condition of the attached other residences which were not well maintained. 2-Adjacent to the entry door of the property we observed what appeared to be black mold. 3-entering the property we were greeted with a musty, mildew odor that made us realize the property was not well maintained nor cleaned well. It clearly did not smell like a recently cleaned house. 4-we then decided to check the bed and once the covers were pulled back the sheets were dirty. As a result of these findings we quickly decided this was not a place for us to stay. 5-called the management company multiple times and it was at least two plus hours until we spoke and informed them we cannot stay at the site. They were unapologetic and offered to have someone come over and change the dirty sheets and the other items were ignored. 6-we quickly found alternative accommodations for the duration of our stay. 7-dealing with VRBO about the conditions and refund has been just as disappointing and apparently the management company did not respond to this issue with them. 8-VRBO finally responded about two weeks later and advised for me to dispute the charge with my card company, which they are now investigating. 9- overall this was a disaster that is still pending from our check in date of Feb 11. Despite all of this mess, we had a great time at another property in Cocoa.
