"What a hidden treasure we found in Dunbar! We ended up spending two days just in Dunbar as we loved the area. Having my morning coffee on the balcony where I was entertained by various birds, then going to sleep with the sounds of the ocean through my window, was perfect. The flat had everything we needed, the beds were comfortable, and if I ever come back, I would stay here again. "All was great. This is a working stable with horses and those many that have to care for horses, plus at least one friendly dog. You felt welcomed and that was appreciated. With a 15 minute drive you are in North Berwick and so close to John Muir park and Seacliff. Seacliff is special. The only, and minor, negative was that it was not a peaceful place when we were there- lots of tree trimming (Chain saw) and chipping- so very noisy at times. The appartment offers everything you need, although we would have appreciated having more toiletttissue and tabs for the dishwasher. "We stayed for a long weekend at North Berwick with my elderly Mother. The location is fantastic, being almost on the sea front with spectacular views out to Bass Rock.The house had everything we needed, with a large well equipped kitchen and two lounges.We chose Guillemots because we needed ground floor living accommodation for Mum. Whilst she managed the ground floor room with en suite, it isn't particularly set up for a disabled person, and so anyone doing similar may need to take grab rails...

"This place was lovely. Clean and bright. Instructions to get in and once inside were very helpful. The only thing that bothered me was the 3 bins of glass bottles, mostly alcohol bottles that were over flowing onto the ground outside the gate, in the parking lot. They were there the day we checked in , already overflowing and only got worse as we stayed for 4 days. They should look into that because otherwise this place was everything we wantes while on our vacation. Lovely!!"

"This cottage was very cosy and had everything that you might need for a relaxing holiday. The owners live a few yards away and were so friendly and helpful. You will need some confidence to reverse your car down to the area next to the accommodation and it was so peaceful and secluded during our stay. Highly recommend. "

"Great location on the beach, 2 minutes walk to the High Street. Clean, comfortable and spacious (4 people) with a lovely sun room overlooking the beach and harbour. Parking is a bit tight, but we managed even with a large van. Only criticisms are lack of soaps/shampoos for the showers and no paper towels/tissues supplied. However, this seems to be the norm in Scotland and may be just my North American expectations not being met. Not a big deal, just something to be aware of."
