"If you want a peaceful place to stay but easy to get to, Barry's wee cottage/prefab is fabulous. It was great to disconnect for a quiet weekend of walking and reading."

"It's lovely basic bach and comes with a functional kitchen with stove tops and oven. It's near Arthur's Pass railway station and was not positively surprised with the amount of train traffic late at night and early morning, not ideal for light sleepers. Surroundings are stunning though especially with the fresh snow on the mountains. Walking distance to the village."
