The bed was very comfy and good toiletries in the en suite. Fantastic location, right on the main street of Cockermouth and free parking at the hotel. Lovely quiet stay. Would definitely stay agon."

"Brilliant uppergrade to an apartment. Very attentive, courteous and friendly staff. Nothing was too much trouble, even when the whole village suffered a blackout due to an electrical fault. The weather was even gracious to us, and views were spectacular "

Nicely decorated hotel and Jacob and the lady, I didn't get the name of, in the bar/restaurant were very welcoming and friendly, a credit to the hotel.I'm 43 now so if I have got Jacobs name wrong please accept my apologies. "A really lovely place to stay! The studio is lovely, a really comfortable space and very clean and in a lovely location. We were greeted by Lee a lovely guy and happy to help with any questions we had. We would happily stay there again! "

"The 3 course meal was al a carte status, excellent made by chef/ owner. Lovely bedrooms and v clean and owners very welcoming. Lovely views and walks nearby. For children the wildlife park is worth a visit nearby. "
