The lighting in the hallways near reception was extremely poor, which didn’t feel welcoming or safe. There were leaks coming through the ceilings with no buckets underneath, meaning you had to walk through puddles just to reach your room. The whole building had a noticeable damp smell throughout. "A functional hotel. It is clean and functional with great staff. The price is always at around £49 which is great for traveling to Manchester, Liverpool areas during peak season. Location wise is a bit out there but that's why the rate is £49 and not £94."
