"Initial check in was disappointing. We arrived 17 minutes early and we're told that we could not have our room until 3pm exactly. A payment if £17 was required for an early check in. This equates to£1 per minute. After a 4 hour journey we thought this was unacceptable."

"A beautiful old property in a quaint location - the staff were excellent, particularly the chap on reception & the waitress who served us at dinner (which was yummy) - nothing was too much trouble for either! Breakfast was great, though they had run out of decaf coffee but fortunately I had some with me for such eventualities, so no problem. Our room was lovely (upgraded due to allocated room being unsuitable for mobility issues), absolutely no complaints! We also took advantage of the giant...

"This is a place for when you want to toyally switch off, relax and gave a great nights sleep. Having no TV on the room, meant we went to bed early, heard no a sound all night and came away fully refreshed after one night. There are a couple of nice pubs and restaurants in walking distance and the Thai Orchid is fab."

"Es un sitio encantador. Tanto Angelica como Shaun son muy atentos. Las cabañas están muy bién equipadas, las camas y literas son perfectas. Hay horno, microondas, lavaplatos... de todo! En la granja hay cabras (super loquitaaaas!), ovejas, conejos, cerdos y las gallinas de las puedes coger los huevos cada mañana. Está muy cerca de Legoland, de Windsord, de las carreras de caballos... volveremos!"

"Certainly not as nice as the photos make out. We would not stay again and do not recommend it. Poor nights sleep for many reasons. Not a good shower. Smelly bathroom, noisy fridge, very light in room at night due to fire exit light in room ...hard pillows. Also very glad breakfast wasn't included based on what we saw. Overpriced for what it is. "

"Advertised as Family friendly so we booked an expensive 1 night stay. For myself my wife and my 4 year old daughter as it had a swimming pool. We were told when we arrived my daughter could only access the pool if she was 5. This was only hidden in the T&Cs and not flag until we arrived despite giving my daughters DOB. We were going to get a relatively early and restful night but the loud base and music until midnight put pay to that. Our room was facing the open door of the after venue and...

"Wonderful stay for the summer with river views and amazing terrace. So many peaceful places to sit and watch the river in the grounds. The rooms were lovely - spacious, big bed and bathrooms and the extra amenities were very appreciated. Its a stunning setting for a summer break."
