"Very clean new hotel. Loved the steam room. No interaction with any staff except a lone front desk pleasant guy. Room was big enough. There's a mall 10 min walk away. Breakfast wasn't part of my booking. Very disappointed in the wifi. Couldn't get on it & weirdly locked me out of my own provider. I was with a large group who all seemed to complain about the same problem."

"We had a fantastic day. The apartment is located just a short walk from Waiake Beach - in fact, you can go out the back gate, stroll past the sailing club and you’re right there. The apartment itself is presented with modern decor and has everything you need for your stay, right down to the complementary tea, coffee, Milo and cookies. Lovely outlook over the reserve, huge bed in the master bedroom, spa bath in the bathroom, great communication from our hosts… really hard to fault anything about...

"I booked an economy twin room at the Alpaca Manor for a corporate stay. Manor is a short driving distance from important amenities including the Albany bus stop and the Albany Westfield Mall. The room I stayed in had wonderful amenities, including air conditioning/heating (such a treat in the colder weather) and underfloor heating in the bathroom. The room was very spacious, with plenty of beds, wardrobe space, and ample room to move around. The bed was comfortable and warm. Also..WIFI...

"I absolutely loved this property it had the right amount of busy but calm/quiet charm in a safe suburb at the right times. Staff both front desk and back house excellent service provided. As a single female traveling alone as a lot of us are doing these days the parking arrangements are safe, simple and easy. The safety of this property for me was above reproach and I’ve travelled quite extensively during my time on active duty. I greatly recommend getting a garden view room and highly regard...

"The room was immaculately clean and very spacious. The staff were friendly and very attentive. Checkin/out was a breeze and the location was quiet even though close to shops. Albany mall is within a 15min walking distance. The bed was a very generous size and very comfortable with ample pillows provided. There was only one bedside light however, and a thin blanket. Although there was a heat pump, an extra/thicker blanket as an option would have been appreciated. Overall, would definitely stay...

"The whole place is very run down. Very tatty and falling to bits. One of the beds did not have clean sheets and we had to use a sleeping bag on the mattress. No soap - only shampoo and moisturiser. Luckily we brought our own. One of the lights in the bedroom began flicking and fizzing. No smoke alarms present. Several windows missing latches and could not be closed properly. We were asked to pay a $100 "bond" and he wanted to take a photo of my credit card! Very dodgy - don't agree to it. Water...

"We stayed here as part of a larger group. Simon is fantastic with communication and accommodating to our needs. We were able to organise a buffet dinner for our large group which was delicious. The resort itself is a bit dated but suited our needs having family, couples and single rooms available with everyone having a comfortable and enjoyable stay. This was our second time staying as a large group."
