"The house was spacious, well-appointed and very quiet. The main problem for us was that there was no Wi-Fi. This surprised us. There was a smart TV, but we could not stream anything because there was no Wi-Fi. Also, the cellular signal was very weak (we use Koodo/Telus). My husband could not complete some work he wanted to do because of the lack of Wi-Fi. The very weak cellular signal meant he could not hotspot off his phone either. We enjoyed using the barbeque and the fire pit."

"Our stay was okay however the property was quite messy and differed greatly from the online listing. The listing said there would be things such as wifi and when we arrived we were told we had to bring our own wifi. This did not majorly impact our stay as we still had a good time however it was disappointing to not have amenities that were on the listing."

"We had a fantastic stay at this cottage! Gary was excellent host—friendly, responsive, and made everything easy. He is an avid astronomer and astrophotographer and we spent a wonderful evening of stargazing with him.The location is perfect, right on the lake with beautiful views and peaceful surroundings. Bon Echo Provincial Park is just a short drive away and made for a great day trip with its hiking trails and stunning cliffs. Sand Lake’s public beach nearby was a nice bonus for a relaxing...

"The perfect slice of tranquility. We were immersed in nature. That means quiet, bird song and croaking frogs. It meant a visit from a tortoise, turkeys and the sound of whispering leaves. The cabin is well appointed and clean. It felt comfortable. It was the relaxing getaway... with ping pong and a little canoeing. The only downside was some mosquito bites... expect that when going into nature! Overall, it couldn't have been better. "

"Great property. Clean, roomy, and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The beds were comfy, and ther kitchen was well-appointed. There was lots of room for parking trucks with trailers, and the ATV trails were very close. The sauna and hot tub were great to have after a long day on the trails. I recommend this cottage!"

"From booking to checkout, the experience was perfect. Cathy is beyond lovely and very responsive to all our questions and requests. The property is perfect. Its close to neighbours but you would never know. It feels very secluded and peaceful. Cathy really thought of every little detail.
