The staff were warm and welcoming. The room next to us had a dog left alone inside the room and he kept barking with another dog down the hall but the staff found the owners and had them come back and then called me to let me know that which I appreciated.

Close to things but the toilet in room 210 had handicap toilet was very small and it creaked and sunk down when I sat on it. I was constantly worried it was going to break.

Check in took awhile (about 15 minutes). The hot water in the shower wasn’t hot enough. Other than that the stay was very nice and clean.

Great stay.
Both times I have stayed at this hotel, there has been really outstanding customer service. These are also easily the most comfortable hotel beds I’ve ever encountered!

We had a great stay while visiting family in Pound. It was clean, cozy, the staff was friendly, and I loved that it was pet friendly! We will stay every time we come in town!

We had an event in nearby, Norton and this was definitely the place to stay! It was about 25 minutes away, but well worth it! Clean rooms, great and friendly staff! They even opened the breakfast a little early since our guys had to leave a little earlier that morning for their event. We would definitely stay there again and recommend highly

We stayed at the Sleep Inn property while bringing my freshman daughter to UVA Wise. We were very comfortable we didn’t experience any problems at all. Whenever we come to town to visit my daughter we will be staying there again. We’ve already booked a weekend in October. The staff were all very friendly! Thanks for a great experience.

I LOVED staying here. The hotel was very clean. The staff were so friendly and extremely accommodating. I will definitely recommend to any friends or family traveling in the area and I definitely would book again if I’m in the areas.

Bring Roach Spray & Keep Everything Off of the Bed
I booked this hotel for Friday June 9, 2023. On June 8, 2023 I had a missed call from the hotel and voicemail message stating that they were going to go ahead and charge my credit card for the booking and they did. I have never had a hotel charge my credit card a day in advance of my booking and I selected the option on Hotels.com to pay AT the hotel. The morning of Jun 10 there was a huge cockroach crawling around the bathroom. I tried to kill it and it got away. I immediately tried to call the front desk and hotel phone didn’t work. I called from my cell phone to let them know. I talked to Valerie at the front desk and she said she would let her manager know. I also killed another strange bug that was crawling on the bed comforter and took it to the front desk, again Valerie acted like there was no issue. I tried to use the fitness room and the treadmill is broken. Upon checkout I brought up these issues again and the front desk was very nonchalant about it all, as if pest issues are a commonplace there. Such a shame, that was a nice hotel at one time, and it unfortunately the only one in town. They could have at least offered a discount on my stay.

Thank you for your feedback .Due to the cancellation policy payment is collected prior to arrival. We have never had a roach issue or any kind of pest issue but we did treat the room and checked the area with no found issues as a result . I apologize that Valerie did not follow proper protocol and that has been addressed. The front office manager also checked the treadmill and it was working properly. Issues such as these are not common for us so when one arises we take all of the proper steps to insure we go above and beyond to correct. We value our customers and their feed back . This is one of the many reason our hotel has been ranked top of the brand for years. If you have anymore issues or wish to speak with me I would love the opportunity to try to make it right. My room was very clean. The hotel was spotless. My only complaint is the legions of smokers who congregate near the front door. The staff were terrific. I slept well. Stayed two nights to attend my son's graduation from Appalachian School of Law in Grundy.

Excellent Hotel Stay
This was one of the best hotel stays I have ever experienced. The sheets were extremely soft, not the scratchy/starchy type that can frequently be found in hotels. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Excellent trip!

We are a military family and have stayed in countless hotels across the country. This is probably the best one we've stayed in. Everyone working there was so incredibly warm and friendly! We got a little 'welcome home' every time we walked in. The entire hotel was incredibly clean. The beds were super soft and comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic with a great selection. And the bonus of the resident hotel kitty was just the cherry on top!

Excellent Hotel
We had a wonderful stay from check in to check out. All of the staff were very friendly. The hotel is clean and the beds were very comfortable. The free breakfast was excellent. They were also having Santa and popcorn and drinks in the lobby. Highly recommended and would stay again. A+++

This property is great - it’s very cozy, safe and comfortable, the included breakfast was excellent and had a variety of good options and the staff were super friendly and attentive. They also have a resident cat named Choice in the property who was cute and friendly- Choice along with the holiday decorations made it feel homey.
