"We had a fantastic long weekend at this cozy, clean, and peaceful rental in on Washington Lake. The cabin sits right on the water with no neighbors on either side—just the sounds of loons and frogs, and the occasional splash from a fish. It was the perfect escape with a quick channel boat ride out to Shawano Lake.We loved having access to kayaks, hammocks, a grill, and outdoor fireplaces. "This property is amazing! Love, love, loved the deer and the trails! If you're looking for serenity, not many places could top this. It was clean and up-to-date. Kitchen is a bit small for cooking but we managed just fine.Our hosts were responsive, welcoming, and available if needed but they also kept their distance, providing us with the privacy we were looking for. "This was a perfect home for a family get away. Plenty of sleeping space with a wonderfully equipped kitchen. Being right on the water with access to kayaks was such a bonus. The view was amazing! We had a wonderful campfire (and s'mores bar) in the evening and having enough chairs for everyone was so nice. Close to the Crystal River Tubing where we had an excellent time."

How ever, while was listed partly correctly as being on the wolf River, it was not mentioned that the location is on a swampy Bayou portion of the wolf River. You can't swim in it. I had rented this particularly for swimming in the wolf River and was disappointed. "

"Fantastic rental! Perfect for kids. Hatch Lake is loaded with bluegill, perch, bass. Not huge fish but the kids caught one after another in the boat and right off the pier. Very clean, comfortable cottage. Brought our fishing boat and the launch was just a few houses down. Very convenient! Hoping to back soon!"
