The house was perfect for our annual family Murder Mystery weekend in Langley. We’ve stayed in a variety of houses in the area over the last 20 years and this one was just as excellent as many of the others. We didn’t have the grandkids with us this year so we did not use the pool, but that was definitely something that they’re going to want to use in the future. Everything was perfect, clean, and well maintained. We really enjoyed being so close to the water and being able to watch the ferries and animals.We did have some trouble using Google maps for directions, and I had to change to Apple Maps to get to the correct place. Once we realize not to turn on Marshall Dr, we had no trouble getting back and forth from the home turning on Martin Dr.

Colin was an informative, polite and responsive host, and the check-in process was seamless. The kitchen was well-equipped with cookware, spices, and cleaning essentials. We loved the comfortable beds and the stunning views of wildlife and ferries. The pool and sauna were a highlight in the cold weather—a wonderful stay we would definitely book again.

Never disappoints! The location is stellar, the open living/kitchen/dining floor plan is so fun, and the view is mesmerizing. Pool is great, swam a bunch and followed with sauna time. All beds and bedrooms comfy.

Great house. Awesome location. Pool was fun and we were there in a cooler season, so the water was rather chilly. The sauna was awesome to have, may want to fix the door as it was difficult to close

This was the perfect spot for a long-envisioned family trip – three couples, a three-year-old, a two-year-old, and a baby, all easily accommodated with private spaces for each family and public spaces that hosted many a memory. The house is lovely and well arranged, the yard totally set us up for success being fully fenced in, and immediate access to what felt like a private beach. We were so busy and the weather so lovely, we didn't end up using the indoor pool, but it looked great. I highly recommend this spot!

It’s a lovely house and property and our second year in a row staying there. Grandkids love the pool! We love sitting by the water on the beach. Very private lot, right on the Saratoga Passage off Clinton. No orca sightings this year but deer and quail family (so cute) were there. Decent grocery store near-by and kitchen is well equipped. Manages to feel far away even tho ferry and Seattle are so easy to get to. Wonderful way to end the summer.

Beautifully situated on the water, kitchen is well equipped, and owner was very responsive. We were nine people, with two toddlers and we had a wonderful trip to Whidbey Island thanks to this really unique property.

Our stay here was everything we hoped for. Peaceful and relaxing, gorgeous views, a fully fenced yard that our dog enjoyed, and easy access to the beach for beach walks at low tide. Beds were comfortable, the property was clean and well appointed, and we felt comfortable and welcomed.

One of the best!

We loved our stay! The house is clean and well stocked, and the view is incredible. Wish we could have stayed longer and will definitely try to rent again. Three families (9 people) had plenty of room and the bedrooms worked well for our group. Weather was a bit cold for the pool but the sauna was a pleasant surprise.

Incredible visit

The first thing all our kids yelled when we arrived onsite was, “We need to come back here again!” The house itself was clean, well stocked, and incredibly spacious for our 5 adult, 3 kid party. The location is incredible. Right on the water with gorgeous views from the house. The private pool was an absolute luxury. The kiddos swam every day and there were ample floaties to keep them entertained. We will absolutely be retuning to this home on a regular basis.

Just what we needed

Nothing but positive feelings about our vacation rental. Beautiful location, clean and cozy interior, fun pool and sauna, right on the beach and able to view the ferry go back and forth from the home. It was very well hosted with a well thought out welcome book provided. The host checked in with us during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. It was just what our family needed. A relaxing easy vacation with pool and beach right there.

Peaceful Retreat

The indoor pool was a plus. Due to the time of year, it was a bit cold walking from house to the pool. I did not get from listing that it was in a different building. I probably misread something. The home doesn't have central heating or air. Only cadet wall heaters. Due to the weather it was very hard to regulate the heat. I guess we should have brought wood for the indoor fireplace but didnt realize that we would need it. something..

Wonderful Stay on Possession Sound, Whidbey Island

Lovely large house right on the Sound and perfect for a family trip with 3 generations. Tons of wildlife - on land and sea. And grandkids adored the warm pool. This is a rare vacation rental that I want to go back to. The house feels totally private, no visible other houses, but yet convenient to stores, ferry and restaurants - a great combination.

Great option for Seattle getaway!

Our family of five (kids age from 7 - 13) and a family of four stayed here for a week. It’s a lovely spot with great things to do and close to the ferry. The pool and games made cool, rainy days more fun. The pool was very hot when we were there and the property manager was very helpful in getting the issue resolved. Highly recommend for people looking for a lovely vacation spot. As a bonus - we had daily bald eagle and seal sightings and a group of harbor seals on the last day!

Perfect home in perfect location

Our family has had a vacation on the Pacific coast every year for the past 12 years (with the exception of Covid in 2020). Of all those vacations, this is the best vacation home we have used. It was perfect for what our family wanted, including the ease of beach access, perfect weather, the views from the home, the sleeping arrangements, etc. It was all wonderful. We absolutely loved staying at the home. Wish we didn't have to leave! The only issue, and it is a minor issue, is that the owners were a bit frugal with the amenities, such as cleaners, aluminum foil, plastic wrap, salt, etc. As I said, we loved our stay, and hopefully we will be able to return soon. Thank you!

Absolutely amazing stay!

We loved our stay here. The pictures don’t do the home justice. It’s spacious and beautiful! There’s a big fenced in yard for the kids to run and play and the pool was incredible. We loved our stay and even saw a whale right outside the window. I’d highly recommend staying here!

Great family retreat

My family of four along with four other family members stayed here for 3 nights and loved it. Friends of ours raves about it to us and we couldn’t agree more with them. The location along the water is beautiful and the house is spacious with a great layout for a group of our size. The host was fantastic and had everything we needed there for us.
