Drove all the way down there thinking I had a room booked to be told that I that they didn't have any rooms left and couldn't help me they could have sent me that information several hours before I drove all the way there thinking I had a place to stay so I'll give it a terrible

This place is awful. Dirty towels, rank odors. The exterior is a pit. One has to walk over debris, avoid a herd of cats and mounds of garbage bags. Fifty bucks. Last time I go budget.

We had a great experience staying at this motel. The manager was super nice, welcoming, and very helpful throughout my stay. They made sure everything was comfortable and were always willing to assist with anything I needed. Excellent customer service and a very pleasant atmosphere. I would definitely stay here again.

Warned by two different locals, one being a law enforcement, not to stay here. It wasn’t named correctly. Some sketchy people around the site. We didn’t stay here so I don’t know if it was clean or if the staff were nice. We were advised to go to Warrensburg or Sedalia.

Got to the room Tv remote didn’t work, trash can had trash from previous guest in it, floor had not been vacuumed, shower has soap from previous guest and shampoo still in shower, stool had not been cleaned. I would recommend not staying here.

Staff was pretty friendly and accommodating at check in, due to issues in the rooms we had to be moved 3 times due to issues in the room such as busted air conditioning. We still ended up with a broken shower, but at least the inside of the room was clean. The interior corridors smelled very strongly like weed and the place is pretty dated, while I realize that the place is a cheaper price point. There was trash and rotten food on the outside stairwells and walkways. I would not recommend for families as it was a little sketch and smells like pot.

The motel was called America budget inn, no breakfast, no coffee, shower in one room did not work no tolet paper in either room, one hand towel , brown ring around the toilet, lawnmower, car parts, on walkway sheets on one bed were dirty, was told free breakfast got shut down by the health department. There were 2 guys lounging around the lobby, the water was shut off on Saturday, received phones in room phone all night long on the first night the staff was really nice and we thought they were trying but we will not be staying there again or will not recommend this motel to anyone out of ten we won’t give this a rating of -10

Got to hotel sbout 9:30 pm. Note on office with number to call but no one answered and voicemail was full. Staff showed up in parking lot. Was shown rooms that I did not book and told the room I booked online was not actually at this hotel. When I went to check out a substitute room, we smelled weed in the hallway. The battery on the lock failed to the room. I canceled & went to another hotel. Staff avoided calls from Expedia & took me a week to get a refund. Will never go back.

The management here were very nice. Katiebwas attentive to all of my needs. Her suggestions to restuarants and shopping near by were spot on. The hotel seemed to be in a much better changeover than our last stay here. To clean up everything that hey have in the few months Katie and her husband have been here and started managing speaks volumes. A turnover doesn't just happen over night. It takes time, patience and care and you can see that progress. Our room was clean, all room ammenities worked. Coffee pots in the rooms would be nice to have as well as well as more vending macjine options since brkfstvisbt served a more vending machine

False advertising and completely unacceptable. The address provided by Expedia led to an American Best Value Inn in Knob Noster, but there was no sign identifying the hotel I booked and no clear indication that the property listed on Expedia was located there. There was also no way to reach the front desk. When I arrived at the address, the hotel appeared to be located behind the main building. There were two separate buildings, and the property looked very shady and more like an apartment complex than a hotel. It did appear to have an old hotel sign, but there was still no clear signage identifying the business or confirming that it was the property listed on Expedia. When I attempted to cancel the reservation, Expedia’s response was simply to call the front desk. They could not reach anyone either, yet Expedia made no meaningful effort to verify the address, confirm the business name, contact the manager, or resolve the issue. Expedia should not be listing properties without verifying that the address is accurate, the business is clearly identified, and someone can be reached to assist customers. If this is the level of verification and customer support Expedia provides when a listing appears misleading or inaccessible, I will not be using Expedia again. But hey, I guess it was the best $60 I ever spent just to get a few hours of sleep. Sarcasm intended. I would strongly caution other travelers before booking this property or relying on Expedia to resolve issues like this.
