Charming
The red barn was very clean and charming. We got in a bit later than expected and host left the lights on for us! The chickens were fun to feed them our leftover pizza (crust). Wish we had more time to enjoy the other amenities but we were just passing through and on a tight schedule. Would stay again if ever come back this way.

Stop scrolling and book!
Easy to find, welcoming from the time you hit the driveway! Impeccable farmhouse charm that makes you feel like you’ve known Leah and her family for years, and by staying there, you are a part of their family (look through their guide book and read the story of the superheroes that live next door). The barn is clean, linens smell fresh without the smell of harsh cleaning supplies, eggs and creamer are in the fridge, coffee in the cabinet, two-ply toilet paper in the bathroom, and the most comfortable beds/mattresses I’ve slept on in my life. If you are looking for a small, comfortable place, you do not need to look elsewhere. We will be back!

Lovely, Quiet Get Away
Perfectly appointed. Comfortable and oh so quiet. Such easy check-in and terrific parking. My only issue is I didn't stay long enough. I'll be booking again for longer next round.

Great Stay
Everything was extremely clean and placement of random things such as blankets and towels were thoughtful. There isn't any loud roosters at the crack of dawn, and the kids loved seeing all the animals around the property. Thank you!

Quite place to stay
My sister , nephews, and I stayed here for her birthday trip. Beautiful, clean and quiet. The house was just the right size for our family. We enjoyed being able to spread out a bit, play games and spend time together. The boys used the hot tub.

Beautiful Barn House
We loved our stay at the Barn House. It was larger than we expected and was very comfortable and clean. I loved the view out of the kitchen window in the morning of the horses grazing in the field. The views were breathtaking and we enjoyed all of the amazing amenities this property offers. Highly recommend. Just be aware of the requirement for a large deposit or purchase of damage insurance on top of the rental price.

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay. We do appreciate the feedback about the damage deposit fees. I'm not a fan of the options either. VRBO really needs to change this. My options as a host are really limited and we do need some kind of protection for incidentals. We've opted to go with the lowest amount of coverage and charge to our guests. The other option is no coverage which after hosting for years is really a gamble! Thanks again for staying!

What a gem!
We would have happily stayed longer! Leah has made the red barn such a welcoming, peaceful respite. So tastefully decorated, comfy, with much-appreciated little touches. One of the first things I did after arriving was to tell my sister THIS is her next (and likely only) place to stay when she visits the area (an annual trek for her from AZ)—wish we could come annually, as well, but it’s a little harder coming from VA!

Adorable farmhouse style Barn in Palisade!
My husband and I just returned from our annual trip to Palisade and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Red Barn! From the minute we walked in, we very much felt at home. The red barn was impeccably decorated, perfectly clean, and had just about anything you could ask for - the kitchen was outfitted very well, the bathroom had toiletries in the shower, the couch was very comfortable and there was even a throw blanket if you get cold (this is one of the ways a vrbo sets itself above the rest in my book!). The owners were super easy to communicate with and we liked getting to meet Leah, her family, the chickens, Tom Tom, as well as the dog and cat. If you want a vrbo that’s central to all the happenings of Palisade (wine byway, produce, lavender farm, etc.), this place is great and will make you feel at home during your travels!

Short Getaway
It was beautiful!! It was warm & cozy and clean! Had all the essentials. Used hot tub and fire pit each night. The colorful eggs in the fridge was a lovely touch. The animals were funny on the property. The sunset was amazing. We would most definitely come back.

Beautiful property! Had everything we needed and more! Tastefully decorated and welcoming.Everything was well thought out down to the details. Our children loved the chickens,cat,dog. Great stay
Excellent place for relaxation and cleanliness! Although the barn is directly behind the host’s home, your privacy is highly respected. The hosts are so accommodating and provide most essential amenities for a comfortable stay. The hosts even provided us with farm fresh chicken eggs (we were lucky the hens cooperated that day!) i highly recommend this place and the hosts.

Perfect Location
Very close to Grand Junction and the wineries in Palisade. Owners provided Gevalia coffee and fresh eggs from their chickens on the property. My wife and I were very entertained by watching the chickens (and Tom Tom the turkey) from the window. Really enjoyed our stay, and would definitely stay here again if we were ever back in the area.

Relaxing Getaway
The perfect place to stay to explore all that Palisade has to offer. Well within biking distance to just about all of the wineries and restaurants in the area, and all the amenities to relax after a long day. Right at home!
We really did feel right at home at this nice family farm. The house is very clean and well supplied. Great location for skiing, visiting the Colorado National monument, Mesa, and other national parks!

Awesome country hideaway
True to listing. Peaceful spot. The fresh eggs left from the on premise chickens was a special treat. Whether you need a place mainly to sleep or a quiet getaway, this is the spot. I like the country, so the chickens, dog, cat and horses across the street were nice. Train tracks not far so you do hear the rumble of the train go through periodically, but not a problem for me. Met both Dave and Leah, wonderful hosts. The place is as it says. Would highly recommend

Looking for Peaches
We were looking for a place to get some peaches to do some canning, and we found the peach mother lode. We arrived way early and we were concerned about checking in but we were welcomed.without a problem. The accommodations were very clean and neat. We visited with the chickens (a bonus was the fresh eggs in the fridge for us) and later the dog and cat came by to welcome us. The room was quiet and comfortable and the kitchen had all the basic amenities needed for cooking. On site was a barbecue that we grilled delicious steaks we bought and the local meat market (that’s the night the puppy came by) I would definitely recommend this place for a getaway.

A charming homestead
The property is very clean and the bed was comfortable. I would stay here again. There was one issue, the air conditioning unit which is located in the bedroom kept that room cool but it did not cool the living room area. This did not really affect our stay since we were gone during the day and into the evening.

Lovely farm setting
This was a charming place attached to the main farmhouse but with total privacy. The view of the mountain was stunning. The inside was quite clean and had all the necessities for small meals. We would enjoy staying here again when we're in the area.

Leah was phenomenal and the room was wonderful! She supplied us with fresh eggs daily! The views were amazing! Very clean and nicely decorated. So quiet and peaceful. Perfect in every way!
Two nights here with my husband was a perfect respite! Having been through this area years ago we knew we wanted to return. The beauty of this homey property with the family farm setting, the pretty, roomy and modern space and decor inside, with fresh eggs in the fridge, the porch and yard seating to enjoy sunrises and sunsets, we felt like Mount Garfield was our very own mountain! We’ve stayed in many vrbo properties and what these hosts have created is first class! Located so conveniently to easily drive through the amazing Colorado National Monument and enjoy nearby Clifton and Palisade wineries was more than we had hoped for! Highly recommended!

Safe Covid Break
We needed a break from our year long Covid routine. We both had our shots and wanted an escape that was safe. We hiked the Colorado National Monument Park, read and played cards. This property was great. Enough space for two and just the right kitchen space for simple meals made out of our cooler. The fresh eggs provided by the hosts was an unexpected kindness that made us smile.

Lovely and unique
This was our first trip to the area. My stepson and his family had just recently moved there. We were looking for a place near Clifton that wasn’t in Clifton. This unique modern farmhouse suite offered everything we needed plus fantastic mountain/pastoral views. The furnishings and accoutrements are all thoughtfully provided. The mini kitchen is especially nice as well as the offer of picking produce from their garden. The Britons were both nice and helpful during our stay. If I could offer any suggestions it would be to add an ironing board and maybe a couple small bars of soap in the bathroom. Both relatively minor things in comparison. We will certainly be back!

Amazing location with incredible views
Beautiful farmhouse. My wife loved it. A lot of nice personal touches, like fresh farm eggs. Incredible views of Mt Garfield. Very clean and inviting. The owners and their family were very friendly. Highly recommended!
