"Friendly reception and service. Room was non-smoking but one could notice it had been smoking before, every time at entering the room. Comfortable bed. It's clear the bathroom had been renovated, but why wasn't at least one hook installed to hang towel and/or clothes? Very frustrating, moreover as the (gliding) door wasn't of any help here either."

"We chose this hotel/pub as it was close to the Bombay Sapphire distillery, I think most people staying were there for the same thing. We were not too sure what to expect as their communication has been awful, I emailed several times over the last few months and had no response at all. I had emailed and asked for an inside room after reading several reviews saying that the outside stable rooms were dark and dingy; needless to say when we arrived we were booked into an outside room! "This is a good hotel for a stay of one or two nights. However, in general the building needs an update. Especially if I look to the price a paid for the room. The bathroom is clean but basic. The restaurant offers exceptable food. The breakfast is too basic (the bread is not good, nothing to choose, very basic and dry). The staff is very fiendly."

"Buen servicio, muy limpio y confortable. Muy bien."

"We have stayed here a couple of times , they go above and beyond to make it a pleasant stay, they also include an excellent breakfast plus another nice touch is the tipple in the room ,"

"Good points: Breakfast was a very good mix of cooked food, cereals, fruit, pastries etc with a decent coffee machine and juice. All help yourself. The swimming pool, while not large, was heated to a decent temperature and the same depth throughout…good for kids. It could have benefitted from having a few hotel-provided floatation devices and the showers turned off very quickly, but the shampoo and shower gel provided were also decent quality. Bad/improvement points: Booked a room with a sofa-bed...

"A wonderful hotel with serene green spaces in a royal atmosphere. I had to work overnight and the gentleman at night desk went above and beyond to help me with an additional TV screen and a place to work at. Simply unbelievably helpful and way beyond my expectations. My wife and kid had a great time in the gardens. I highly recommend this place if you´re out to get some relaxation."
