Great Remote Cabin

If you are looking for a a great cabin to get away from it all this is the place. Has everything you need to enjoy a nice get away. Will definitely stay here again.

Exceptional Stay

This cabin was just what my wife and I were looking for… a place to get away and still be close to local attractions, and this cabin exceeded our expectations. It is cozy, well decorated, has everything you will need for a cabin-stay, is close to local restaurants and the state parks and is a short drive to places for grocery shopping and the like. The host was also amazing as she was considerate, informative, clear in communication and very kind. She made our stay even better than it would have been otherwise. Long story short… this place was great and we hope to return again!

change of scenery!

It was great; just as advertised. Maybe smaller than I thought. Luckily, we were able to eat outside at the picnic table. Really too small inside for 4 adults to eat a meal. but otherwise, perfect!

Fall get away for a hike in the mountains

The property is a log cabin in the woods near the SC/ NC line. When we booked it on VRBO, it indicated it was geographically close to Brevard ( where we wanted to hike) and it looked rustic. We thought it was about 18 miles from Brevard. It may be as the crow flies, but not as you drive, this caused us an additional hour ride each way every day. So just be aware. The husband liked the cabin much more than the wife who may have preferred a less rustic experience. The bed was comfortable ( which was great), the ambience was rustic, the hot spot was awesome. The kitchen was adequate . The cabin had an AC unit that ran all the time, it was out of our reach. I believe it was left running to preclude mildew, but I don't believe it was working. I would have loved to turn it off at night and enjoy the quiet of the woods. But that wasn't possible.

Loved the cabin!

Perfect getaway spot for my husband and I. The cabin is secluded and private. It's clean and had everything we needed. Nice touches throughout. I posted pics of it and now my friends want to rent it too. The owner is very responsive and friendly. I'm glad we found such a cute place to rent!

Small but sweet! Loved our three nights at this cabin. Close to all the state parks. Cozy and comfy! No oven- but there is a stove top, grill and microwave. There's a fire pit, nearby stream to sit by, outdoor picnic table, and the cabin was very clean! Don't hesitate! Owner was easy to deal with and her communication was awesome.

PERFECT GETAWAY SPOT

This cabin is the ultimate getaway spot for couples. It's small and quaint and absolutely gorgeous. The area is perfectly secluded surrounded by nature which provided a wonderful element of romance. The cabin was very neat and clean and just as pictured...stunning! We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Rustic Cabin and all the small details that Cathy and Rick added to our stay. We would totally book this cabin again!

Rustic Cabin Getaway

We are a family of 4 - two adults and two teens. The cabin was perfect for us. Twin beds in the loft were perfect for teens. Gave them a little privacy. Not sure I would stay with very small children, the stairs are steep, i'd worry littles would fall coming down in the dark to use the bathroom. The small deck ob the creek is the perfect place for morning coffee, and afternoon breaks from the kids. Beds were comfortable, high quality kitchenware, easy to use grill on the porch, and two coffee makers. Cathy is a perfect host, quick to respond to my every email, even before we left our home in Florida. I highly recommend this adorable little cottage.
