Our family chose The Roundhouse because of the games offered inside (ping pong and pool table) and it did not disappoint. It was the perfect set up for our family. The kitchen was stocked with pots and pans we needed to make several meals. The bedrooms/bathrooms were clean and comfortable. The rain drove us inside one day and our family of four had the best time. The kids had plenty to do downstairs with pool, ping pong, and other various games. The beds were comfortable. And the host was so kind a gracious! A place to return to for sure!!

Where do I begin? This octagonal cabin appeared old and once inside, definitely old and outdated. The decor? - can anyone say "thrift store?!" Just a hodge podge of mixed furniture that did not give the woodsy cabin vibe or comfort. The beds were awful! The master bed most of all. I felt like a hot dog crammed in a bun. No support at all which explains the cheap mattress foam that was on top of the mattress part just under the cheap thin bedsheets. The other two beds were not much better - one secondary bedroom had a headboard that banged the wall anytime you moved. Some outlets didn't work so it was like playing a game of "find the working plug." no ceiling fans in the secondary bedrooms and no curtains hung on the window. Don't worry about setting an alarm for the morning as the daylight wakes you up because of the cheap window blinds. The master bathroom's shower was a blast from the 1950's or 1960's with its mustard yellow plastic insert. The vanity sink was a pretty one but too big for the vanity top and barely any room to put your personal hygiene items out to use. When the refrigerator would kick on, it sounded like someone left their air compressor on outside. Try sleeping through the night with that going on! Be aware of the treacherous spiral staircase that doesn't even have a high enough safety railing around it. The basement has a game room where the pool table is not exactly level with tips on the pool sticks almost gone. And there's more crap!

Check in was easy and the host was responsive. Everything was clean and exactly as described. We didn’t do any cooking but the kitchen was well-supplied with basics. It was especially nice to find the “welcome” bottle of wine and coffee(!) that we had forgotten to bring.

Great weekend getaway!

Loved the house. with a short drive to Helen. Loved the basement with games and entertainment, and the pet friendly policy so we could bring our little pup! We would gladly make a 2nd visit some day!Thanks!!

Girls Trip

We had a wonderful stay. Perfect for a girls trip planned around an event at Yonah Winery nearby. We enjoyed the peace and tranquility. Accommodations were great - we especially enjoyed the game room! We hope to return.

Great mountain stay

Our second stay in this beautiful little cabin up in the mountains outside Helen was even better than the first. Simply wonderful. The recently added Pac man arcade game was also a nice touch. If you're looking for a place close to Helen but also isolated enough to feel like you're out in the woods, you can stop looking

Great for a Getaway

We had a great time - only wish we would have had more time to take advantage. The house is super cute, was very clean, well stocked and had very comfortable beds. Property management was super responsive and helpful with any questions that we had and the check in and check out process was very easy. Great location - close to both downtown Helen and Cleveland. Would definitely stay again.

Great cabin with a Mountain View. Two porches, the one off the master bedroom is screened in and a great place for a family dinner! Very spacious and nicely decorated. AC worked great. Plenty of things for the kids to do downstairs.
