Nice place for a party

It was over all good. Only issue is there is no noise policy so we had neighbors outside playing music and parting loudly until about 1 am. Other then that it was a nice place to stay for 1 night

Wonderful weekend getaway!

This cabin and property were exactly what we were looking for! The cabin itself was clean and cozy, with everything we needed for couple nights away from the city. A 50 minute drive to Whitetail for a day of skiing made for a fun-filled weekend. The kids had a blast sleeping in the loft and playing around the creek and pond. We will definitely be back! Thank you!

Nice cabin for a retreat

A little off the beaten path, but sometimes you want that. Everything was in order. We arrived after dark, so it was a little tricky to tell which cabin was ours. Heat was a little tricky as it had a loft that got very hot. But eventually it settled out to a reasonable temperature. Probably not a issue if its above freezing outside. But very clean and beautiful surroundings.

Great stay

Cabin was great. Perfect for our family of 6. We enjoyed sitting by the fire, listening to the babbling creek, and warming up inside the cabin when it got too cold outside. Beds were comfortable and loft was perfect for my too big boys. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Just the basics a LONG way from anywhere.

My son and I thought this cabin might be a nice stopping off point half-way through our drive from Ohio to Washington, DC, so we booked it for a night. We know it would be isolated, but not this isolated. There are literally no real restaurants anywhere near the property, and the nearest full-service grocery is a Food Lion 20 miles away. The cabin is very neat, very clean, and very basic. We were pretty comfortable, except for the fact that the temperature outside dropped below freezing the night we were there and the heating unit for the cottage is mounted high on the living room wall where it blows all of the heat up into the loft, where no one was sleeping. Very little heat made it back to the bedrooms, and the bedroom electric floorboard heaters weren't working. Admittedly, we were not there to take advantage of any of the outdoor activities offered, and if you're a family (a SMALL family) looking for a quiet, quaint, relaxing getaway with horseback riding, swimming. and outdoor games, this may we be the place for you.
