Lakeside

Very clean, well appointed cabin just a short minute walk to Lake Cle Elum. Quiet neighborhood. It felt like we were alone in the woods. Loved it!.

The house is a dream. Fully equipped. We didn’t need to pack anything house related. The house is beautifully decorated and well cared for. One thing I would suggest would be to go through the board games. Some were missing pieces but we just substituted the missing pieces out for something different and we were able to play still. Everything was super easy to find and the instruction book was a wonderful touch. This was our first time renting a house for a weekend. I really enjoyed our stay. Pretty sure it’s ruined hotels for me going forward

Cabin review

This cabin was very homey, very clean and in a great neighborhood. It was a quick 1 min walk to the lake. Amazing Will definitely be back.

Winter weekend getaway

We are six friends that have worked together for years and have been making an annual pilgrimage from the Puget Sound area to Central Washington to attend the fun Ellensburg Winterhop brewfest. This was our second year staying at the Peak-a-View Lake House and we couldn't be more pleased. There were comfy beds for each of us and one of us even brought his dog along. We took turns cooking in the exceptionally well stocked kitchen, and even had a nice fire in the outdoor fire pit. I hope the house is still available next year.

The house was great for a group of three on a work trip in the area. Location was good and everything was perfect.

The stay was ‘meh’

We expected a pristine cabin in the woods, with a working television and a kitchen complete with necessary utensils and seasonings. The rugs, of which there were too many and not secured in place (several tripping incidents) were tired and dirty. Going up the treacherous steps to the upper level, had stains….human or dog? The chef in our group was exasperated by a hodge podge of cooking utensils, serving items, lack of seasonings, and no plastic wrap or aluminum foil. Lastly, we tried and tried to get into the system for the television. I assumed turning it on would be all it takes. Nope. To access the streaming service, it kept telling us to use OUR Prime Streaming account. None of us have a Prime account. Contacting the property manager about this issue was useless. It was frustrating because the text (no return phone call) said it was stated that we told the situation for accessing the television. I looked at the listing and all it stated under amenities: television. There’s too many VRBO rentals to choose from and I would have selected another. This rental was a disappointment. Bottom line: I’ll never return to this rental.

Amazing!

Yearly family gatherings started for us a couple years ago and every year we try a new place. This is at the top of our list. Very close to the lake, every night we used the firepit, enough beds so we didn't have to share, large kitchen and table for all of us. It was perfect. Thank you!

Winter Weekend Getaway

Six current and former work colleagues have tried to make an annual pilgrimage to the mountains in winter for much of the past 15 years. We have stayed in many places over the years and we all agreed that this place has all the amenities that we look for, The kitchen is very well appointed and the wood stove keeps the whole cabin quite toasty.

The cabin fit all of us very well, plenty of room. The huge dinning table was great for games and puzzles. The mud room was great for all of our snow gear. The place could use a deep clean.

Cozy Winter Property

This cozy & inviting home was an excellent fit for our family cross country ski trip. Our young children loved the sleeping arrangements & toys. It was near a few trail options & we deeply appreciated the wood stove when returning from a day of skiing.

Snowmobile Vacation

This is a great location! Just 4 miles from Cascade Rentals. Great cosy cabin with lots of beds for friends and family. Plenty of dishes for everyone. Kitchen we'll stocked with cooking pans. Wonderful fireplace to warm up the cabin. The hosts provided shampoo samples and soap. There were enough towels for everyone. We had a wonderful time!
