Loved our stay. It was clean, relaxing, had everything we needed, and the hot tub was on point. We already talked about coming back. Check in and out was easy. Host even had a binder of places to eat and things to do in the area. It's out in the country a bit and the stars were gorgeous to look at. The view of the was from the deck was relaxing, tree tops blocked it a bit but still relaxing especially during sun rise. Area is very quite.
Recommendation:
If your gonna do most of your own cooking and need a variety of groceries pick a bigger store and take an ice chest. We stopped in Paris tx at Krogers. The local areas have some things but not big on variety or fresh produce.
The drive way to the cabin after entering tbe gate is steep and has loose gravel. Our first attempt involved spinning tires. We are from Texas cities so not something we're use to. Ended up using the snow setting on our suv and made it fine that night and every night after. Stick to the left when driving up the incline the gravel is less loose.
If you drive around be sure to gas up and you may not want to go below half tank there are stretches with no gas stations or no easy to get to stations. Also quite a few close by 10 pm.
If you go to Oklahoma city swing by Halls pizza it's amazing.
Witchita refuge is about 4 hours away but worth the drive
Also the couches and bed were super comfortable like looking at the brands cause I may not want new furniture comfortable
You will not regret your stay here.
