I’m new to VRBO and learning the style of communication with the host. Host interaction was minimal as I did not need to speak with the host until my communication about the placement of the thermostat in the basement unit we were staying in. I received a response 18 hours later stating that it is preset for 68 to 70 degrees. No capability to increase the temperature evidently. During our stay this past 4 days the temperature outside ranged from 27 -29 degrees in the morning to a high of 49 degrees during the midday. It was cold in the unit as the wind was blowing as well. It would have been nice to be told ahead of time that the temperature or heat for the unit is not adjustable right from the beginning. The cleanliness of the unit was ok, but the laundry including the towels, wash cloths and linens smelled musty. The oven did not work properly and would not heat up from a preheat setting. The bathroom tub was not clean requiring cleansing and scrubbing of it to remove dirt and soap scum. Definitely needs a deep cleaning and some refurbishing of the couch and beds as they are significantly soft and uncomfortable to sit on or lay upon. The area is beautiful, nice backyard and pet friendly, but needs some TLC and updating to the unit itself

It’s a beautiful view pulling in and located in a nice area. I just have a few things I’m miffed about, that being that the cleanliness could have been better I.e. dead bugs in the bathroom and rooms, the second bedroom floor near the bed definitely needed a vacuuming, the towels smelled like they’ve been sitting there for a while. Otherwise the house was quaint, loved the cute backyard.

This is a very nice property and pet friendly. The yard and landscaping are well kept and the home is clean, and has everything you need. Check-in and checkout are simple.We only needed one night but will definitely consider a longer stay in the future. Relaxing and quiet, thank you!!!

Very seamless check in. We visited for a concert and this was perfect! Would have been nice if we had more time to enjoy the beautiful outdoor space. It was well stocked with anything you may need for your stay. If ever in town again we would stay again in a heartbeat!

Fantastic location with a short drive to Pine Knob. The space is comfortable for two couples. The air flow stopped during the night which made sleeping on a warm summer night a bit uncomfortable. If there was a fan in the bedrooms it would help with air movement. The kitchen needs measuring cups and spoons as well as at least one spatula or turner.

Close to Pine Knob

We rented this as we were attending a concert at Pine Knob. It close to the venue and cheaper than surrounding hotels. The place was nicely appointed, had a full kitchen and comfy beds. Great for two couples! The backyard setting was peaceful and relaxing.

Red Carpet experience in Clarkston

There are so many great things that I can say about this property! Here are a few highlights: 1. The property managers are truly AMAZING! Even before my stay they reached out to me and were so kind and helpful. Excellent communication via text for any questions I had about the property. 2. Extra towels, hot water, and excellent water pressure in the bathroom. Honestly, who can ask for anything better than that?! 3. Privacy! I seriously felt like I was the only one on the property during my stay. 4. Comfy beds! Both queen beds were comfortable and the linens were fresh and smelled great. My family and I plan on being returned guests. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish.

Other than finding socks, water bottles and random Stuff under one the the beds and the corners of the bathroom full of dust the property was nice. Could definitely use some upgrades to linen as they smelled musty.
