Cozy stay near mammoth caves

This property was a really cozy and nice and relatively close to mammoth caves NP! It had all the items necessary for a campfire. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful cabin!

The cabin was absolutely beautiful and was the perfect amount of space for the 4 of us! We wish it was a little closer to the caves. Made for lots of driving after driving all the way from Michigan. Everything was awesome except for a mild ant problem, but the owners were very quick to respond and offered to bring us spray. We would recommend this VRBO to others!bring us spray.

Amazing KY Vacation

Our family loved staying in this cool A-frame for the week. The boys loved the upstairs loft and it was the perfect home base for a week of cave, kayak, boating, and swim adventures. Highly recommend this property with all the amenities you need for a relaxing getaway with kiddos.

Relaxing & Quiet

This cozy A-Frame was perfect for my group of two teenage girls (who loved the loft area) and two adults. It was clean and beautifully simplistic. Not a loud neighborhood at all. We enjoyed the time spent at the cabin relaxing. There are parks and trails around the area; close to Nolin Lake as well. I enjoyed visiting this A-Frame.

Guys Weekend 2024

Clean, modern, efficient, quiet. Exactly what our group of near 50's needed!! Only recommendation to owner would be to ensure adequate paper towels, coffee, and dish detergent. All in all a wonderful property and fantastic stay!!

The perfect AFrame

This was the perfect property to stay in while we visited Mammoth Cave. The beds were comfy and plenty of room for playing games at night or watching a movie. If the ferry is open its a quick 25 minute drive to the caves. Our first night a big storm hit and the ferry was closed all week, so we had a 50 minute drive to the caves, but enjoyed the drive each day.

Modern A-Frame

Our stay at the A-Frame was fantastic! Everything was as the listing stated and more. We ended up using more than we planned - cooking most meals there, using the grill and fire pit, while enjoying the creature comforts of the AC. With stainless appliances, two full baths and extra cleanliness, this was far from most cabin experiences I have had. The kids and adults-alike loved the layout, especially the loft. The written guide with suggestions was very helpful in understanding the immediate area also, helping make this a great trip. Thanks!

Loved the A Frame!

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin and our time in KY. The cabin was very clean, comfortable beds, clean/fresh towels and sheets, adequately stocked kitchen. We had plenty of room for a cozy stay with our family of 5. We visited Mammoth Cave and found lots to see there. We did have a little bad weather during our stay and found there is not much else around the area to go and do. We would absolutely recommend a stay at this cabin. Angela was very responsive and the description/pictures are accurate!

Perfect Mammoth Cave Stay

House was the perfect spot for our family of four. Plenty of room to spread out inside and out. Beds were comfy, everything was new and clean. Wonderful water pressure in the showers! Stairs to loft are narrow but fine for our kids. We roasted marshmallows in the evening, our host Angela gave a great dinner suggestion at nearby Buoy’s. Be sure to take the ferry to Mammoth Cave, take at least two tours while you’re there, and say hello to the horses up the road from the house.

A lovely visit to the area.

We recently stayed at this cabin and had a wonderful time visiting the National Park. If we could give 4.5 stars we would've. The issues weren't horrible but unfortunate and left us spending more time driving then we would've hoped. The cabin itself is amazing and thoroughly enjoyed the features and amenities. However, the location was just alright. I've learned to check into this more for our next adventure. 23 minutes is correct, it gets you to the edge of the national park. 40 minutes gets you to the visitor's center assuming the ferry is open, otherwise it's a 54-minute drive to the main hub of the park. There's not much of a view (to be fair it wasn't claimed there was) and close to some main roads where many of the hard-working men and women of Kentucky start there day at 4:30am. Again, nothing horrible but should be noted when investigating and why we couldn't give this location a full 5 stars. Thanks!

Great weekend pit stop

Our family of six from Ohio stopped for two nights on our way to Gulf Shores, Alabama. Our kids loved the space and we loved not staying in a hotel with four kids for two nights. Having a second full bathroom has become a must and we loved seeing more of the beautiful countryside on our way to and from Mammoth Cave. We also toured Crystal Onyx Cave and had a wonderful meal at Bouys which was so convenient.
