"I stayed at this hotel for three nights and had a pleasant stay. The room was clean and tidy. Although there isn’t any air conditioning, there is a fan. I didn’t miss having air conditioning, as the room didn’t get too hot, even though I was staying on the top floor. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The Wi-Fi wasn’t particularly fast, but it was perfectly adequate for my needs. There’s also a TV in the room, which is handy if you get bored. 🙃 Overall, I thought the...

"Staff were fantastic, very welcoming. Room was amazing, everything was beyond expectations. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate, biscuits, chocolate bar, sewing equipment, shoeshine and lots more were provided in our room. It was central to the beach and amenities and to top it off the the breakfast was delicious."

"It was very shabby and it smelt bad. It is conveniently situated for the centre of Clacton but it was very noisy and so I didn't sleep well. There was very little space in the bathroom. They don't do breakfasts so I had to schlep round town in the heat trying to find somewhere. On a positive note the gentleman was very friendly and welcoming when I checked in."
