Beautiful Property

This is a beautiful property! The condo is nicely decorated in island decor. So many small touches to enhance a visitors stay such as a basket of beach towels, lots of flashlights, games, etc. The condo is updated and very nice with 3 bedrooms amd 3 baths. The property has a beautiful small beach. The pool area is also very beautiful. Highly recommend this property!

Very Spacious with Great View

This property is perfect for larger groups of 6-8 people as it has three spacious bedrooms, and a large kitchen and living area. The patio has a great view. The complex has wonderful amenities such a a pool, beach with chairs and umbrellas, and plenty of pool/beach toys to use. This is a great place to stay but you will need a car as it is location a distance from other restaurants. etc.

Wonderful Stay

My friends and I had a great time staying at this condo. The kitchen is well stocked and the pool/restaurant/amenities were very convenient. Very comfortable for 6 people. The location is great for visiting both the west and east sides of the island and the perfect amount “out of the way” for some peace and quiet. Highly recommend.

Beautiful condo, great location!

Villa Mango is a nicely appointed unit with a well stocked kitchen and very comfortable beds. There is seating for four on the lower balcony, and the upper balcony off the bedroom has lounge chairs. The views are great! The upstairs bathroom could use some updates, including better lighting, but it is functional and the room itself is very nice. The property manager replies very quickly to any issues and was easy to work with. We cooked in several nights and found plenty of cookware, spices, and other things we needed. The property and grounds were in good shape, and clean and well cared for. Our only complaint is the cleaning woman showed up two hours prior to our checkout time. She asked if she could get laundry started and we agreed, but then she proceeded to try to keep working in the unit. She asked if she could strip the bed in the room where my 25 yr old son was showering. We asked her to wait until we checked out, so she sat on the stairs outside the unit the entire time we were in and out loading the car, getting changed, etc. It was exremely awkward. While I understand the need to turn over a unit quickly, I suggest bumping check out time to 10am AND purchasing enough linens that the condo can be turned over and laundry taken out. It appears the dryer takes a very long time and she was concerned about getting everything done. When we checked in she was still there finishing laundry, and we told her would finish for her, which we didn't mind doing at all.

Christmas Vacation

Beautiful view from the back patio! My family had a great time while in St. Croix and loved the amenities on the property. Would be nice if there was a tv in the master, but we lived without using it to fall asleep like we normally do at home. Only real complaint was the lack of cleanliness at check in. There were pistachio shells and dust bunnies under the foot stools in the living room when we moved them, and a lizard that had clearly been dead a while in the bunk bedroom next to the dresser that freaked my kids out.

Great location, especially for families

For people, especially families, looking for a nice home base during a stay in St. Croix, this place is it! It's a quick drive to Christiansted if you need to meet a boat for an activity (think: snorkeling) or grab dinner out, it's 2 minutes from the bioluminescent kayak tour, and it's a 1-minute walk to the pool, Sunny Shack, and beach. The unit is cute, quiet, and easy to relax in. Great location, great place, great host. Thanks, Robin!

Absolutely Delighted

Six of us (three generations) rented this beautiful townhome for a week at the end of March. It was simply a dream come true for all of us. So clean and bright, with incredible views of the ocean and the stars. Tastefully furnished with all amenities and just a short walk to the pool and beach. Definitely deserves the highest rating we can give. We would love to stay there again some day.

We Love Gentle Winds

E8 has fabulous views and breezes. We rarely used the air conditioner. The beach Shack is awesome and really some of the best food and service on the island. I have been coming to STX and Gentle Winds for 40 years. The big big plus for me..The beds in E8 are super comfortable! The decor is the unit is wondeeful

Beaches and Fun

We wanted to get away from stress and work. Villa Mango was the resolution. Plenty of room, on the beach, fantastic pool, and fun snack shack and bar. Manager Robin was the best for suggestions for dining and activities. We stayed busy 8 days. Rented snorkle equipment and had fun at the many beaches. People were friendly and courteous drivers. Rent a car to explore. You will have great vacation. Get groceries at Plaza for variety. Cramers beach by Point Udall has showers and restrooms and calm waters. Could go on for hours. Cheers.

Family Vacation

We had such a great time during our stay at Villa Mango! The condo was the perfect size for our family, the kids each had their own bedroom and bathroom, so no fighting! We were very close to the pool and private beach which was great for us. The close proximity allowed our kids to be able to walk back and forth as needed without us. We often had the pool to ourselves and were always able to get chairs on the beach under a palapa. Having a full service tiki bar on site that serves food was a huge benefit too! The location was great, an easy drive into Christiansted for dining and activities. I would definitely recommend staying here to anyone!

Great location, great condo

This condo is located on a very nice property, it feels like a resort. The condo itself is nicely decorated, roomy and comfortable, with a lot of common space area for everyone to hang out. It has 3 balconies. Bed are very comfortable, and waking up with the sound of the waves is just so relaxing. The view of the sea from the balcony itself is worth paying for. The unit is very well stocked with everything you need. One note, to turn on the shower in the bunkbed bathroom, pull down the ring from the bottom of the spout (it took us 2 days to figure it out). The Grill Bar by the beach is one of the best places to eat on the island, and honestly most affordable. If you are planning to cook some of your meals, go shop at Cost-U-Less (similar to Costco, no membership required), otherwise the local stores are expensive and don't have much variety on fresh veggies or fruit. Robin was excellent in assisting us and responding all our questions. We had no problem with checking in. We enjoyed very much STX, VI.

Great location!

We loved Gentle Winds condos - the pool, beach, tiki bar, game room. Everything was an easy walk from the condo. The location felt safe and was an easy drive to all the St Croix attractions. The condo had plenty of room for my large family and was well appointed. Can’t wait to come back!

Feels like a home and a resort!

This property is perfect for families looking for a home base near Christiansted, yet wanting a quiet location to relax. There were times during our week-long stay that we had the pool and the beach all to ourselves. The handy snack shack is open from 12-5 each day for drinks or sandwiches by the water. It took about 20 minutes to drive to town for scuba diving, food tours, dinner, etc. The one thing on the description of the property that might need clarification is the beds. There is a loft level with a king bed. There is a bedroom with another king bed. There is a bedroom with one bunk, queen on the bottom, twin on the top. Then there is a queen air mattress (which we did not need). Each bedroom has its own bathroom. It was perfect for our family of 5 (two adults, two grown children, one teen). Robin, the property manager, was very helpful through every step of the process. I highly recommend Villa Mango!

Perfect escape

The home was perfect size for 4 adults and 3 children. It had a resort like feel since we could walk to the beautiful beach and pool that had plenty of chairs and even a snack bar. We were a short drive (15-20) to supermarket and Christiansted.

Gentle Winds

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay! The condo is beautifully furnished, the grounds are perfect, and the water was absolutely beautiful!! Would highly recommend. We cannot wait to return!
