The Boat Shed

  • The Boat Shed is a little hidden gem located behind Blues BBQ in Christiansted. It is surrounded by palm trees and several types of flowers and foliage. We named it the boat shed because this is where we store our boats. It is a small studio apartment with high ceilings. This property is located behind Blues BBQ, which is great if you need a quick bite to eat, and includes live music about 3 nights a week. The music is older low key music and stops around 8:30pm which is when they close. You will also see chickens on the property which will include free eggs for our guests. You will see chickens all over island.

Great Rental

Great place to stay

Property is exactly as pictured and described, Stephanie and Eric are terrific hosts. I highly recommend this place. It's a great place for a couple to relax and enjoy your stay

Perfect place for two!

The hosts were so nice and left us local fruits and were prompt with any needs we had. The boat shed is a cute place to stay and perfect for two.

Great location and value

Great property, clean, and great hosts!

Stephanie was a fantastic host, the property was exactly how it was described. The blues’ backyard BBQ & grill is walking distance alway and a huge bonus. Also, there are chickens and rosters that wake you up every morning which was so cool! Great experience here, and can’t wait to be back!

Boat Shed was Perfect for Us

The boat shed is clean, has everything you need for a nice comfortable stay. The bed is comfortable and the shower is great with a great air conditioning unit also, the three most important things for us. We loved the chickens on the property and chatting to Eric, the owner.

Ideal location

Unit as described. Great location as a launch point for day trips to the east or west coast. Stocked very well to be able to cook meals. Hosts were extremely helpful in making recommendations. Certainly will stay again.

This little house is darling with A/C, wifi and a nice TV. Everything you need is stocked. The location is convenient to both large towns, grocery and restaurants. Stephanie is an excellent host and I recommend it highly.

A very pleasant stay

We had a very pleasant stay at the boat shed. The hosts are very caring and generous, and they want you to have a positive experience. The location is good, especiaĺly if you are planning to visit various areas of the island; it's not too far from anything. The shed is well equipped and exactly like in the description. Local fauna and flora around!

Centrally Located

Nice spot for a home base to take off for day trips around the Island. AC worked great! nice little kitchen and full sized fridge. Loved the shower. Netflix and Youtube on TV was nice to fall to sleep to. We liked the BBQ and Bar adjacent to the house. The property was just right for us.

Perfect place

Stephanie and her husband are terrific hosts. Very knowledgeable about island life and ready with great suggestions or answers to our many questions. The efficiency is perfect for two and very handy to downtown Csted. It is a great homebase for touring the East side and Blues BBQ is right out front making it easy to find and also a welcome place to grab a bite after a long day out if I didn't feel like cooking when we returned "home". We will definitely stay here again when we come back❤️

Cozy and awesome

The Boat Shed was awesome. Perfect for us , small but everything you need. Great location behind Blues Bar B Que. We stayed for four days and hated leaving, it kind of became our home on the island. We met our host and they were great andade sure everything was taken care of for us. We walked down to Blue's a couple of times and enjoyed drinks, meeting great people, and awesome music. We definitely recommend The Boat Shed!

Great Experience!

Stephanie was a great host. She went above and beyond in making sure that we had a comfortable stay and had everything we needed. She even gave us eggs from her farm, which we made use of in preparing meals. I should also point out that the property is as described, centrally located to the downtown area, restaurants and other activities. Thank you so much for all your assistance over the past week!

Perfect Place to Stay While Checking Out the Island

The Boat Shed was perfect for our week-long stay on St. Croix! Everything was very clean and there were plenty of dishes for making your own dinner. Stephanie and Eric were very accommodating and shared some of their home-grown produce with us. When the electricity was off for a bit, Stephanie brought us a battery-powered fan, so we wouldn't get hot while sleeping. We will definitely be back!

Not sure where to start… the property is perfect. Everything you need in a quiet little spot. The best part is the owners. They live near by and are some of the best and most helpful people I’ve ever met. I know people staying on the island. They were very jealous of me and this place. You can’t go wrong with the boat shed. Can’t to come back.

Cozy, perfectly placed in Paradise

This was our first real vacation and our gracious host truly went above and beyond! The accommodations were spotless and provided for our every need. The small kitchenette was fully stocked with pots, pans, plates and utensils. There were plenty bath towels and beach towels. The fantastic wifi saved us on many occasions, as the cell phone signal from our US carrier was a total loss. Our host gave us a short tour of Downtown, helped us secure a rental vehicle and even provided lifts to the store for essentials both day and night. This, plus all the small details and being perfectly placed as a halfway point between the Twin Cities of St. Croix more than earned our sincere appreciation.

Aunque es parte de la propiedad de los dueños, es un local aparte, bien privado. Stephanie es muy agradable, me recibió al llegar y dio recomendaciones de cosas para hacer. No tuve tiempo para turismo, pero esta perfecto para descansar. Se encuentra localizado detrás de un negocio de comida pero dentro de la unidad no se escucha música ni ruidos provenientes del local Me senti segura en todo momento
