This property is a hidden gem. The owners are as well. The pictures don't do it justice. There are full ocean views on both sides of the deck, the house is clean and VERY spacious, A/C throughout, the kitchen is very large and FULLY stocked with all necessary pots/pans/utensils. All 4 rooms and bathrooms are very spacious and beautiful. Our family have been traveling for dive trips for the last 25 years, and this is the first home I felt like I could actually live in. John is an EXCELLENT host. Anything you need at any time and he is on the doorstep. A very good friend of mine died suddenly 5 days before we arrived. Needless to say, I was grieving quite heavily. The peace and serenity of having total privacy, sitting on the balcony, looking at the ocean and being cooled by the winds then star gazing at night really put my soul at peace. This place is magical and we cannot wait to return.

Great Home in Paradise

Paradise Awaits is the perfect description of the property. It is immaculately maintained, quiet, secure and has postcard views of the island, beaches and surrounding hillsides. The property is located on the East side of the island (quieter side) and came with a fully equipped kitchen that had all the amenities required to prep meals and snacks for the family of 6. The owners met us for check-in and explained all the aspects of the property. Check out was just as easy. The house is large with plenty of room for everyone to spread out and have their own space. Nights by the pool are magical with the dark skies, stars and sounds of the surf coming up from the beach. A perfect home base for an outstanding visit to St. Croix. Look forward to coming back for the next Caribbean vacation!

AMAZING!

I don’t know where to begin with my review of this property. Everything was so amazing, it’s hard to put into words. John the owner is hands down the best host I’ve ever encountered. He goes way above & beyond any expectation. The house is breathtaking….views from every room, clean & stocked with anything you may need….including a nice Cruzan rum bar! The pool was picture perfect & so refreshing after a day at the beach. I could go on all day about the house & John…..thank you from the Totten family

70th Birthday Celebration

Paradise Awaits is a perfect destination for a milestone birthday. We were multi-generational family group of 8 and the accommodation were perfect...especially the hugh saltwater pool and beautiful outdoor living area. Host John was great to work with, quick ti answer any question and a great help in getting us checked in for our stay.

Relaxation in a Beautiful Setting

My family and I spent 10 days on St Croix - June 2024. We had a fantastic stay at Twin View Terrace. Our host, John, was incredibly attentive and made sure we had everything for a wonderful time. We highly recommend - you will not regret the views and the comfort.

Name says it all

What a beautiful home! 6 adults stayed for a week at Paradise Awaits and we had a wonderful stay. The views from the house are awesome. John was wonderful, always available for questions and he goes above and beyond to make sure everything is good. This house has everything and is so well stocked and organized. We have been coming to St. Croix for over thirty years, have rented many homes and condos and this is one of the best houses we have ever rented.We will definitely be back. Views to die for!

Our stay at the property was amazing! It was extremely clean and spacious. The check-in process was rather seamless. The host was available anytime we needed anything, nothing too big or too small. The views from the deck/pool area are incredible. 5-stars, all the way around. We enjoyed our stay and would most definitely stay here again.

Christmas in St Croix 2023

Relaxation is how I will sum up the island and the home away from home. John was what other reviews have stated and more. He helped us at the airport to get to the house and communicated with us as we had questions during our stay. Peace, quiet, and the morning rainbow while we were there is what a vacation should be. Thank you for the use of your home to spend quality family time.

Lovely House and Beautiful Setting

We very much enjoyed our stay at Twin View Terrace and liked the location on the quieter East End of the island. The main house was very clean and comfortable and extremely well equipped with everything we could need, especially in the kitchen. We were with 3 grown kids and a daughter-in-law and everyone had their private space but also great gathering spaces to hang out together. The deck and pool were fantastic with absolutely gorgeous views of both the north and south coasts! John was a super helpful and accommodating host.

Comfortable Home with Gorgeous Views

This is a spacious and extremely clean home with what has to be one of the best views in St. Croix. The sunset is breathtaking, and the sound of ocean waves at night as you float in the pool is so relaxing. We were a party of 5, with ages ranging from 12 to 63. The floor plan provided a great balance of privacy and communal spaces. The home is the most stocked of any I've stayed in, with everything you need to prepare meals. John was a kind, helpful, and responsive host. He met us at the airport and guided us to the house. He answered all our questions and provided suggestions to make the most of the trip. I definitely recommend renting a car so you can drive out to Point Udall, Christiansted, and Cane Bay. We enjoyed being away from crowds (it was so quiet at the house) but also a short drive into town or to catch a snorkel tour. We ate dinner at the house every night because it was such a peaceful reprieve after a busy day in the sun. I appreciated the simple checkout procedures that minimized travel stress. Thanks, John and Wendy, for your hospitality and for sharing this lovely home with us. We may be back!

Amazing!

Great house in a great location. John (owner) was super responsive to all of our questions and had great recommendations for us. We had 3 young children and the house was perfect. Plenty of pool toys and items to use on the beach. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

Amazing!

It's difficult to summarize our experience with this property because it is all and more than the description! John, our host, went above and beyond in making our stay a memorable vacation. The house was cleaner than any VRBO that we have rented in the past. The kitchen is well equipped with all that you may need to create any meal, and all equipment was in good condition, a definite plus! The whole house was comfortable from the living room to the bedrooms and the outside pool area and deck were equally as comfortable. Like most other reviewers, the views were endless and beautiful so not much time was spent in the house! If you are considering renting this house, do not think twice! This will surely be our first choice when returning to this beautiful island. Thank you John for conscious management of your property.

Amazing Views

Absolutely amazing views from the pool, main room, kitchen and bedrooms. We did not want to leave! The location is private and tranquil with a wonderful beach, Smuggler’s Cove, just minutes away. The home was as pictured, very clean and among the most well-provisioned rentals we’ve ever had. The kitchen lacked nothing to make nice meals. There is both a gas and charcoal grill and we picked up some fresh fish at Golden Rock to grill. We could not get the gas grill to ignite and used the charcoal one instead. The very next day, John, our host, had a brand new gas grill set up and waiting for us. Very unexpected and exceptional hospitality. Plenty of towels, beach chairs, coolers, rum bar, pool toys. Highly, highly recommend and we hope to return. Thank you, John!

Amazing Christmas stay and incredible views

My family and I had such a great stay over Christmas at Grapetree! The views at the property were truly breathtaking, they had everything stocked that could you need for cooking, cleaning, beaching, etc., and we very much appreciated the baby items (high chair and pack n play) that were included for our littles. They even went above and beyond by setting up a Christmas tree at the property for our stay over the holidays and left us an ornament to remember our time on the island. Thanks John and Wendy for a great experience! We hope to be back again- sooner rather than later!

Very lovely home!

John and Wendy's home was absolutely lovely. We have stayed at several STRs on St Croix and this home was by far the cleanest. It is very spacious and the bedrooms are large with lots of dresser and closet space. Each room with its own bathroom was a huge plus. The house was well equipped with everything we needed and we lacked for nothing. The pool was nice and the views are unsurpassed! The internet was reliable, but I could not get cell service unless I was on the deck. The pictures are an accurate depiction of the property and it was exactly as we invissioned. I would 100% stay again!

Family 40th Wedding Anniversary Party

I don't typically write reviews, but this place was so wonderful I strongly felt the need to write one. The property is awesome. On our first day we saw a rainbow similar to the one in the pictures. We could not believe it. There were 8 of us who stayed there, including a 6 month old. Standing outside by the pool and your look left you see ocean then look right and see ocean - Just amazing. The recommend beachs were not busy or crowded, and we like that, though we did find some nicer beaches on other parts of the island. This place had everything we needed. We had absolutely no complaints and would stay again in a heart beat. The owner checked in on us on multiple occassions during our stay to make sure his place met all of our needs and it did. We had a very minor issue with the ice cube maker and he sent someone out in minutes to look at and fix. Prior to our stay, I emailed the owner multiple times with various questions and he generally responded within an hour or two at most. He gave us recommendations for just about everything: resturaunts, shopping, things to do, etc. I cannot say enough good things about the owner. At the end of our stay I specifically asked my family if the place met all our our needs, and they all said yes without hesitation. The only very minor complaint I got from my family was that the lighting going to the downstairs room was not very good at night, especially when the door needed to be unlocked (Cell phone worked great for this). The recommended beaches in the area are wonderful with very few people and we like that. We did adventure out and did find some nicer beaches on the island, but they were more crowded as well. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is interested in staying in St. Croix. If we ever go back to St. Croix, we will without hesitation stay at this location again.

Beautiful Caribbean Retreat

This lovely property was a perfect venue for our week in St Croix! It easily accommodated our 7 person family (5 adults & 2 preschoolers), but cou;ld equally well suit 2-3 couples or several friends. The layout was great - three bedrooms in the main section of the house, in combination with a very large common living room and kitchen/eating area. Each bedroom had an associated bathroom. Most of our time at the house, however was spent out on the deck and outdoor eating area and ,of course in the beautiful pool. In addition, there is a downstairs self contained suite, which we did not use. Our host, John, was extremely helpful and responsive, and the entrance/exit procedures were easy to follow independently. We loved the local beaches, especially the snorkeling, and found the nearest town of Christiansted charming and very friendly, with excellent restaurants and great shopping . All in all, a wonderful, unforgettable vacation in paradise!!

Beautifully comfortable stay

Our fantastic vacation to St Croix starts and ends with this property. The most obvious things to mention are the gorgeous views of the ocean from the refreshing pool and deck which were top notch. The rooms, each with a bathroom, were nicely decorated and clean. But it was all the details that enhanced our stay such as the stock of spices and necessities in the kitchen to the labeled light switches and comprehensive folder with helpful hints about the property and St Croix. Beach chairs and coolers were also provided and such great items to supply guests. Our stay was so comfortable we barely had a need to leave the house. The host was attentive and quick to answer questions. Thank you for a wonderful stay

Amazing Views! Wonderful house for a family vacation.

The house was clean, well stocked and lived up to everything described and more. John was a fantastic host and very responsive to all questions.
