Wow, the views were stunning! There was always a breeze which was nice and helped keep the house cool. The breeze was a bit chilly when we were there so we didn't get to enjoy the pool much, but it was maintained and looked beautiful!The host and the on island contacts were very responsive. We ran out of propane and they replace the tank in a timely manner. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were updated. Overall, the house was clean and well taken care of.The kitchen has plenty of dishware, silverware, coffee cups and glasses. I highly recommend this house. It's 10 minutes away from everything you need. You will not be disappointed staying at this property.

Wonderful views overlooking the Salt River Bay and the east end towards Christiansted and Buck Island, and over to the south side, Wally's place is an absolutely beautiful home with a superb layout, a great salt water pool and outdoor kitchen area, excellent terrace with multiple seating areas, wonderful breezes with open air living. Green throated Caribs and the Antillean Crested hummingbirds at the Ginger Thomas bushes throughout the day, and enjoyed spotting many other birds of St Croix. Wally, the host, is friendly and helpful and gave us great suggestions on where to eat and his favorite beaches, and was attentive to any need or concern we might have, without being intrusive. We are already planning our return trip to this lovely villa. Thanks Wally! We had a great time!

The pool and view were great! The communication was very good. My issues was lack of attention to the home. Overhead lights were dirty or not working, washing machine smelled moldy and the dryer took a very long time to dry, sheets were thin, some stained sheets, some towels had holes in them, kitchen poorly stocked with cooking utensils ( all kitchen items seemed to be bought at a garage sale) toaster toast on one side of bread, curtains moldy, no paper towels on the property and very little toilet paper, the drain in one shower was clogged, outdoor cushions were moldy and in poor condition, the sectionals was terribly uncomfortable and was actually outdoor furniture, the guest information book was rusted and needed to be updated. All these issues are easily fixed but seemed to not have someone paying attention. If they could do a new update to property, then it would be a much more enjoyable place to stay.

Brimstage Estate is truly perfect! The views are amazing, the pool and outdoor living space is so spacious and exactly where you’ll want to spend all of your time. It was so incredibly peaceful and quiet on the mountain side. The home is just as perfect as the outside with nothing lacking for preparing meals, entertainment and hang out space for everyone in your party. We were so appreciative for the provided selection of pool and beach supplies to use as well! Wally is a phenomenal host- one of the best at communicating and his recommendations were so terrific!!! We can’t wait to return!

Best Views and VRBO on Island

This is the place to be! The views are extraordinary! My husband and our best friend couple visited for our 10 year wedding anniversary from 12/29/24-1/5/25 during the Crucian Christmas Festival. Though one of the busiest times on St. Croix, we had an amazing time! We even took a day to check out a few properties with an amazing local realtor while we were here in hopes of an investment opportunity. Even the properties we viewed didn't have the amazing views as our VRBO with Wally. The layout of the residence is conducive to privacy and relaxation. It was very hard to aquire a vehicle, so if you plan your trip during Christmas/New Year's, book your vehicle well in advance with Centerline or Olympic. You MUST have a vehicle! The entrance to this VRBO is a little scary as the drive is straight-- up. But was very manageable after the initial drive up. Try to arrive early enough to find the place in the light, it is much more difficult after dark. The lock box was a bit tricky, but we figured it out. Also be aware that there are many potholes across the island and the locals drive fast. They will also cross the centerline to avoid potholes and can create a few close call situations. As we were here during New Year's Eve, we arrived back to the VRBO to ring in the New Year. We could see the fireworks in Christiansted from the deck. It was awesome to be "above" fireworks and even though they were so far away, it was a very cool experience. You can still hear the waves thou

Great stay with great communication

We enjoyed our stay at the villa immensely. Great common spaces to spend time in together, and very clean rooms. BEAUTIFUL master suite! The kitchen is larger than it appears in pics! Our only “heads up” is that this (like many vacation rentals on the island) is up a windy road with a significant elevation increase. It made for beautiful views, but also made us need to plan our comings and goings efficiently because the drive can be a challenge for those prone to carsickness (especially in the backseat!)

Fantastic stay

Loved our stay. House is very accomodating. Kitchen has eveything you need. Separate living quarters from the big house for privacy was nice. Views are amazing. Close to Cane Bay and short drive to everything else. Host and managers very responsive. Don't hesitate. Book this property today.

Gorgeous views and Spacious house

We loved our stay there and we will remember this place for its space, amazing views and gorgeous sunrises. The area is quite and peaceful. The kitchen was well equipped and functional. Our two college aged kids took advantage of the different areas of the terrace and the pool. Wally gave us good tips for shopping and was prompt to reply to our messages. This place is the perfect vacation home.

The view and the home are wonderful!

Perched on the hillside, the views are simply amazing.. Loved watching the rain storms roll by! The home was very comfortable and felt homey to us. We lived on the patio and in the pool. The kitchen and BBQ were easy to use and move around in and about. It was a nice relaxing break from the world. Hope to stay there again soon. Thank you Wally and Mgmt team for a wonderful time! The view! Amazing

We loved our stay and the host, Wally, was so communicative and kind! If youre looking for a comfortable stay and a view for miles and miles you cant go wrong. The only downside for us was that we had a lot of windy days during our 2 weeks which actually made it too cold to use the pool much. The locals tell me december is often windy (as opposed to the normal breezy). Believe it or not the temperature was in the high 80s every day. We werent cold but didnt need to cool off. Lol

Great location and views

This property did have great views out onto Christiansted and its bay and beyond to the east and southeast. The breezes from the elevation did help keep the bugs at bay (midgies, no seeums, etc) that we battled at the beach. The amenities, including quality cookware and cutlery that we walways find lacking at rentals were of good quality to allow us to cook our meals with ease. What we did not know from the listing is that there is another home on property very close to this house whose occupants are actively in and out and their stairway faces the patio. Also, the pool is solar heated so the temperature seems to vary depending on the amount of sun during the morning and early afternoon when the water is actively pumped to the roof. We had a rainy and overcast week so the pool stayed at a cooler Caribbean temperature versus a true heated pool. We very much enjoyed our stay and Wally was very kind to check in with us throughout the week to make sure we were doing well with everything.

A great view

The title of the listing is not an exaggeration -- the views are amazing from near the top of the range. This was our fourth trip to STX and we all agreed, this was the best house we have stayed at in that time. Close enough to Christiansted that the drive to town is only around 20 min. but also far enough away to be calm and quiet. Communication with the owner and the local property managers was great, even though we had no issues.

Beautiful Place

The place was beautiful and very comfortable. Host was very nice. Only complaint would be having the neighbor so close. There is a boom box in the living room that is Bluetooth and is pretty loud so we had a complaint about the music. There was also a storm that hit us and the kitchen window didn’t close so we woke up to a huge mess in the kitchen. Water was everywhere. But other than that, it was an amazing stay and great location.

Spectacular views!

This place is amazing with spectacular views! We had 6 adults with plenty of room for everyone.. had the windows and doors open all the time with a breeze coming through.. definitely recommend a stay here!
