"Good location and parking. Rooms within main building poor and terrible smell from corridor"

"Friendly staff"

"The hotel was further from Lyndhurst than I expected and although that wasn't an issue, it was further than I anticipated. This for us was the only downside to the stay. The room was cosy and comfortable and somewhat quirky. We loved its uniqueness. The hotel restaurant was lovely and we enjoyed our dinner there on our overnight stay. We would definitely stay again as it was convenient for a stop over before embarking on a cruise the following day from Southampton."

"Sweet well designed and decorated rooms"

"Nice place and perfect location"

"The amenities in the room are excellent with lovely bath products and a well stacked tea/coffee tray which includes illy coffee- my favourite. The food is very good ‘pub grub’ with an excellent wine list. Large outside sitting spaces to enjoy the best of the British weather and cozy indoor spaces if the weather is not the best."

"Nice hotel in a great location. We enjoyed our stay"

"this place was good for 1 night only; the food left lots to be desired, The evening meal was very disappointing. The breakfast was dreadful; the eggs were so overcooked they were crisp on the bottom and all around the edges. The staff were somewhat laid-back. I would not recommend this place to anyone."

"La ubicación inmejorable"

"OK room - no air con but understandable give the age of the building. Bed was OK, but traffic noise is noticeable, especially with the window open (remember there is no air con), so not the best nights' sleep. Staff were fantastic though, especially the breakfast server and the breakfast itself was great."

"Honestly this was the MOST perfect stay for a new forest adventure. i cannot tell you how special this place is you just need to go an experience it for yourself. Special shout out to ALL the staff, they were just as perfect as the room was. thank you thank you thank you. it was a dream."
