The Space:

A beautiful old railway cottage, set in secluded woodland, yet with easy access to Christchurch and Bournemouth. The Willows is a unique cottage situated in the heart of St Catherine's Hill Nature Reserve, a stunning area of heathland and forest, offering opportunities for walking, cycling and nature spotting.



Christchurch has everything – stunning golden beaches, a beautiful natural harbour, an historic Priory, Highcliffe Castle, and much, much more. It is also the south-western gateway to the New Forest National Park. Whether it’s strolling the Christchurch Coastal Path between Highcliffe and Mudeford Quay, exploring the wild beauty and magnificent views at Hengistbury Head or spending a day with the kids at Adventure Wonderland, there really is something for everyone here!



The Willows is a lovely old railway cottage, which dates back to 1925, is full of character and period features. The living room has a beautiful log burner, which also heats the adjoining entrance hall, and ample comfortable seating. A 42 inch wall-mounted television and patio doors that lead to the garden. A large country kitchen including a round table seating six and separate outside access door. Downstairs bathroom (shower, sink and toilet).



Stairs to three bedrooms all with lovely views over the adjoining fields and all with wall mounted flat screen televisions. Master bedroom (kingsize double) has access to a balcony area with seating for two and lovely countryside views. Two further double bedrooms. Family bathroom including feature roll-top bath, walk-in shower, sink and toilet.



Outside there is a pretty courtyard area with bistro set and coal barbecue. The garden is fenced.



Parking - Ample parking for two / three vehicles in front of the cottage (off road).



Services - Duvets and linen provided (including bath and beach towels). Central Heating. Hairdryers.



Technology - WIFI. Televisions - 42 inch in living room, 40 inch in kitchen, 32 inch in master bedroom and 24 inch in each of bedrooms 2 and 3. Freeview TV. DVD in living room.



Kitchen - Dishwasher, Double Electric Oven, Feature 5-burner Hob, Extractor, Full Height Fridge / Freezer, Microwave and Washing Machine.



Restrictions - No smoking. No Pets.



Same day bookings can be accepted if received before to 6pm (4pm on Sundays) when our office closes. Arrivals out of office hours can be organised if requests are received before 6pm (4pm on Sundays).



Additional facilities - a cot and highchair are available on request.



Note - The cottage is located in a rural location and the garden backs onto a nature reserve and paddock with horses and sometimes cows!
