It suited my purpose very well, i was disappointed there was no hot tub which was advertised, and no tea and coffee. Ford a ten day stay I would have appreciated more than one towel. I is a very well appointed bed sit and I was very comfortable there.

Perfect Location
This was the ideal location for our stay in Christchurch. It was very quiet and comfortable. It was close to family we were visiting while in Christchurch. Off street parking was perfect.

Excellent property
Couldn't fault the property as per above rating BUT booking through 3rd party was very confusing. We didn't get confirmation, address etc until 2nd payment, which was not clear initially. Locating a phone number was how we eventually sorted the physical address, but beforehand it was looking very scam like.

Wonderful location and host

A beautiful place with all commodities approximately half an hour from Christchurch CBD by bus and close to the beach. Sue was very welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Lovely space close to everything you need to enjoy your holiday.
The space and location was perfect for what we needed. The host, Sue was very sweet and accommodating to all of our needs. We had early flights arriving and departing and Sue made check in and check out very easy, allowing us to arrive at a very early hour. Highly recommend this space and looking forward to booking again if we travel back to the area.

Trip to Christchurch
A lovely apartment, beautifully decorated, quality room. The home was closer to the owner than we expected, is part of the house, we were conscious of not making too much noise. The cooking facilities are a bit more like cooking in a motor home, was not very practical, we weren't prepared for that but the owner is lovely and was a comfortable bed and amazing bathroom. Overall we were happy

I'm sorry if you felt the cooking facilities were not as substantial as you had wished for. I acept that there is no oven, it is adequate for simple meals, but that is also why there is a barbque outside with an extra cooking element. There is an abundance of good restaurants within a few minutes drive but I appreciate not every one wants to dine out.

Home away from home
We were looking for somewhere not too far from our city town house while earthquake repairs were done. We stumbled across 37 Moncks Spur Rd in Book a Bach. Close to beaches and Sumner and Redcliffs villages. It was so good to relax there each day after dealing with tradies and contractors at our city home. Sue was exceptionally kind and hospitable, inviting us to take fruit from her garden and makng her laundry availabe to us as well. We can't speak highly enough of her and her well designed, modern, and well equipped studio.

Simply Superb
Right from the start we were warmly greeted & shown through. This is a lovely studio unit with a courtyard directly outside the big ranchslider. This is a great place for 2 to stay for business or pleasure. You can cook simple meals in the kitchenette. The wardrobe is a roomy walk-in, & the bathroom is tastefully appointed & the vanity has his & hers taps. Nice touch! The water pressure in the shower is good too. The bed is SO comfortable. It's elevation gives it splendid views from the road or upstairs in the hosts lounge. Located between Redcliffs & Sumner village, you can't make a wrong turn at the bottom of the hill. Our host was lovely. What a great introduction to Christchurch!

Very pleasant, quiet location close to shops and beach.
Easy off road parking. Sue welcomed us warmly and showed us the views from her upstairs home. The downstairs apartment was modern and clean, with everything we needed to be comfortable. We would happily stay there again and recommend it to family and friends. Thanks Sue!
