Great motel, clean room, friendly helpful staff and close to Riccarton Mall. Even though on busy road, not too much noise from the traffic.

Would just like to make a comment on the firmness of the bed. It was to the extreme. Very uncomfortable, but other than that great.

Fantastic location. Close to everything. Room and bathroom were clean and serviced daily. I would stay here again if I an back in Christchurch

Less Sky Channels
Well they no longer have all the Sky channels, guess the package deals may have changed but the channels i usually watched, Crime, ID and a few more were no longer available.

Liked the location. Didn't like the bed it was brokenthen moved to a room that not similar to what we paid for. It was a cheaper room with less facilities and our room was no longer serviced.

The spa bath plug leaked and needed topping up. Hot water filling the bath was really slow. TV was not great. No ice cube tray. Very small but the bed was clean and comfortable. Notice about using towels more once?. Electric blanket not working and overall not very warm.

These good be lovely motels but sadly very tired.Couch uncomfortable beds uncomfortable with a plastic underlay and various other sheets under bottom sheet. Curtains and blinds shabby and dirty. Carpet has stains and holes.Sink is partly blocked. Would could be a lovely private outdoor area is unkept and furniture turning green.Hopefully someone will love it again.yours sincerely Lesley Brocket ( Former motelier)

The place is very close to big shops and very handy to coffee shops. Easy to find. The room is clean and no big issues Except my only concerned is the bathroom floor I find it very slippery.

The hotel canceled my booking last minute at the time of check in around 7 pm when no one is there at the reception. After 30 mins they told me that transferred my booking to another hotel - Econolodge. The other hotel charged me for the night even though I refused to stay there. And now I still dont have the refund on my card. Orbitz is not even helping here.

Handy in Riccarton
Handily placed to Riccarton Mall. Small rooms, but makes for a cosy stay. A couple of things in the bathroom need looking at, so a bit more care would enhance.

I didn't notice until morning there was no milk in the fridge & the office wasn't open at that time. Just an oversight I'm sure. Most helpful in keeping my bag after I checked out for me to pick up later

Staff checked what we needed daily as we stayed more than one night. Traffic noise was a bit of a concern, but used to it by night 3. Parking not as easy as thought, but sufficient.

The carpet is stuffed, the ceiling is stuffed in the bathroom, Vertical blind is stuffed. The room is in need of a lot of repair.

Unit was dated scruffy and needed a damn good clean TV was way to small...blood stains on pillow case blinds encrusted with dust paint peeling in bathroom toilet roll holder held on with a band aid and broken blinds...need to be majourly updated

Room smelt like mold bathroom had mold around window frames bottom of shower was stained,inside of front door had spill/dirty water marks seats had large stains,under bed rubbish had been left by prior guests fridge had prior guests milk and beers left uncleaned out,front door blinds broken.have stayed here before over the years was a 4.5/5 now its a 1/5.

Hi Ashlee, the unopend small bottle milk is for coffee or tea in your room, and the unopend beer is the welcome drinks on arrival we usually provide to our guest, if you don't need it, then please don't use it or take it with you when check-out, we will improve our cleaning standard for sure, but won't follow up some fake reviews: (
