We had arranged a paid for transfer from the airport with the host in advance of our arrival. The host had confirmed the pick up and said she'd meet us with a sign showing my name at arrivals.
On arrival at the airport I sent the host an email to say we had arrived and were waiting for her, she hadn't provided a contact number. We had to wait an hour outside the airport for her to arrive as she had forgotten to pick us up! We then questioned whether or not our room was ready, as it didn’t make sense that she would forget to pick us up from the airport as arranged, but have our room ready.
On arrival to the property we were shown to our room, there were used cotton buds by the bed.
Within a couple of hours of being in the room we both had a number of mosquito bites. There were gaps in the outside door/frame and no mosquito net over the bed, so we didn't sleep very well
