House was lovely very spacious well equipped ..We had a great time with family celebrating a 70th birthday.

Better than expected

Our family ages 4 to 70, rented Stonewell Farmhouse for a celebration of my husband’s 70th birthday. It was clean and beautifully decorated.Very well stocked kitchen, plenty of plates and glasses. Pantry room was perfect for food and drinks - we had a Tesco delivery as soon as we arrived and everything went straight into the pantry and fridge freezer. Ice, milk, and a nice sweet treat were supplied for us as well as a vase of fresh flowers. Heating was a little warm for us and I think we may have splashed a little in the hot tub and water level dropped. Both problems were answered immediately by text! Perfect!

Perfect place for a celebration

A fantastic place to host a 60th birthday celebration with a group of close friends. Stunning house, beautifully decorated in a great location with everything available for you to settle in quickly and focus on fun. Kitchen was well appointed for our private chef and the wonderful Falkland Arms a comfortable 45 minute walk away. A faultless experience from booking to departure - we will definitely be back!

House has serious issues

Overall our family get together was a great success and the space offered was good but as a mixed age group we all felt very sleep deprived after 4 days…. The beds and plllows were top quality… but the bedrooms are arranged on two floors and EVERY floor and staircase creaked…. enough to disturb the sleep of our whole party Also the location is well out of Great Tew and near a very busy road.

A wonderful week in the Cotswold

Hired the farmhouse to be the centre piece of 3 70th birthday celebrations. The property was exactly what we were looking for. Large enough for the whole party of 14, clean and well equipped. The hot tub was very popular!! The couple of small issues that occurred were very quickly dealt with. Thanks Paul and the team.

A stunning property and great weekend

A lovely property

Stonewell Farmhouse is a really lovely property. We used it for a family weekend to celebrate a decade birthday with children and grandchildren. It has lots of space and very good facilities. All the family thought it was a great venue and we definitely recommend it.

Get together with friends

A great place to get together with friends. Beautifully appointed and well equipped kitchen. All bedrooms and bathrooms modern and very comfortable. Lots to do in surrounding area. Would recommend.

40th birthday celebration!

We recently celebrated a special family birthday in Stonewell Farmhouse (Friday to Monday). We had a wonderful time at the cottage which was well stocked with everything we needed for a large party including 2 dish washers! The property was clean, bright and welcoming. It has a large garden, barbeque area and a hot tub in a secluded sunny spot. The snooker table come dining table was a hit with everyone. I would definitely recommend a stay in this beautiful spacious cottage with wonderful views of the surrounding area.

Lovely house for large family gatherings

The farmhouse is gorgeous. The games room and hot tub kept the kids entertained during our holiday. There were 15 of us shed 3 to 80! The only issue is the creaky floors, it really was loud and meant that once the first person got up in the morning it woke the whole house. I think this would be costly to address but is a real issue. Other than this the house was perfect with all supplies eg dishwasher tabs, cleaning stuff provided.

Family break/50th birthday celebration

Booked this beautiful farmhouse for a large family holiday combined with a 50th birthday celebration. Age ranged from 2 years old - 76 years old. The house was immaculate, everything catered for, amazing surroundings and great location. We would definitely recommend this property and hope to return again

80th Birthday Celebration

Fabulous weekend at Tew Farmhouse, lovely comfortable spacious house, loved the little extras like White Company Products, dog treats and leads, would definitely stay again, had so much fun playing snooker and in the hot tub and so much outside space to enjoy also only negative was the sound travels through the house due to the lovely wooden floorboards throughout but we did have noisy guests in our group!!

Beautiful property in stunning location

We had a fantastic time staying at Stonewell Farmhouse for a birthday celebration. We were a mixture of adults and children and the facilities were excellent for both. It is incredibly well maintained and everything you might need is supplied, from kitchen utensils to tea, coffee and some excellent cakes. We would absolutely recommend the property for a group looking for somewhere to stay, the hot tub is a great addition and the BBQ is top class. We thoroughly enjoyed it and would love to come again.

Beautiful house in gorgeous setting

Spotlessly clean, beautiful furnishings, great views, comfy beds (bar one which we had to fix). Warm, with all we needed. Loved it! We were left alone other than when we needed hot tub topping up, which was done promptly when we asked. Definitely recommended

OUTSTANDING

We booked for a weekend stay for my wife's 60th birthday. We had 14 adults, 2 children, 2 infants and 3 dogs. There was plenty of room for everyone. Each bedroom was very roomy with 6 en-suites. The cleanliness was spot on. The little hideaway with a air/pool table was ideal for the youngsters. The huge dining table which turned into a full size snooker table kept the adults entertained. Genius idea!! Gorgeous location for walks...amazing.

Family New Year

What a great time we had staying at the house. Everything was catered for with everything we needed. The children enjoyed the large spacious house. The beds were comfortable too and the hot tub was just what we needed to relax completely during our stay. We enjoyed it so much we’ve booked it again but for Christmas this time. It’s lovely to have all the family together in one place to celebrate. Set in the countryside, wonderful!!

Beautiful house

We went here for my 50th birthday celebrations. The house was beautiful, had everything we needed. The pool/snooker table got plenty of use, so did the hot tub. The only thing that let it down was the squeaky floor boards. Once one person was up and about everyone was awake.

Fantastic weekend break at a wonderful venue

Fourteen family members, aged from 8 to 73, all enjoyed a superb weekend at Stonewell Farmhouse. The hot tub was a real hit with the youngsters among us, as was the air hockey and pool table. The older members enjoyed the snooker table and just chilling in the grounds and indoors. Catering for fourteen was really easy with all the high spec kitchen equipment (although we were surprised not to discover any espresso cups). The bedrooms were excellent and the beds very comfortable. Highly recommended.
