We loved our long weekend away at Suwannee River Retreat! The house was clean, spacious and updated nicely. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed: pots, pans, utensils, etc. It was the perfect hangout spot in the mornings while we made breakfast. All the rooms were spacious and very comfortable. Plenty of room for a large family. The dock was our favorite part, though; we spent several hours relaxing out there, enjoying the peace and quiet of the river. The check-in and check-out process was easy, and the only two things we needed to do before leaving were strip the beds and take out the trash. We will definitely be back!

This place was perfect in every way. Very quiet and peaceful. It is a cabin in the woods and it was just lovely. The river views were spectacular and the sounds of the birds were like a symphony to us city folks. We saw two owls in the trees on the property! Truly a hidden gem. They had a fully stocked kitchen and two refrigerators! Only thing I'd recommend is bring your own salt :) plenty of pepper and other spices.

What a beautiful little retreat! My only complaint is that it was just a very short two night trip and I wish I had had more time there! The property, the river, even the driveway in is just gorgeous! I highly recommend this rental.

We thoroughly enjoyed this cabin and all the surrounding nature. Very spacious in all rooms, kitchen had everything you needed, beds super comfortable, hot clean showers and fast wifi, though not needed much. The lot is gorgeous sitting right on the Suwannee, lots of mature trees, tons of seating for deck, fire pit and endless views from the large dock. Enjoyed watching sunrise from master bedroom and sipping coffee with the fog rolling over the river. The full moon and clear night was spectacular. Thank you for hosting us and all the welcoming recommendations!Only suggestion, could use some sharper knives to prep food. Other than that, it was perfect. Thanks again!

This place is a hidden gem. Awesome location and was 100% ready for us! Unfortunately it rained the diration of our stay, however we wnjoyed ourselves immensley. Will definitely come back to take advantage of the kayaks and the river.

The location was nice but the condition of the house was not! The floors were sooo dirty that we had to keep our socks on to keep our feet from getting black. The water heater needs regulating. To take a shower the water was either ICE cold or SCALDING hot!! One of the adults got burned so the children were not allowed to use the shower. The same for the kitchen faucet. We found numerous dirty glasses, and utensils as well as dirty placemats and potholders. The chair cushions for the porch were in need of washing, the firepit was sooo overflowing with ash left from previous guests that we had to shovel some aside to enjoy our own fire. All of the windows were dirty which took away from the view of the beautiful river. No weather stripping at the front door which allowed cold air to pour in. All in all, we were there for a family Thanksgiving and were left quite disappointed with this VRBO. It is in need of some serious cleaning. We would not return to this property again.

the rental property was beautiful. the river dock was outstanding. unfortunately my eldest dog could not do the stairs so i had to stay elsewhere during that time. my son stayed with my other dog. he enjoyed the stay but there were loose dogs that intermittently came on the property making it difficult to just sit out with our dog. it was pretty and the host was great but if i had noticed the stairs in the picture i would not have rented it

The property is just as listed. Kitchen has everything needed. Beds are comfortable. Outdoors is just as listed. We really enjoyed sitting out on the deck. Our son lives in the area and we will definitely stay again!

Great week. The floors were dusty could have been mopped before we came that is the only reason I gave cleanliness a 4. I would definitely come back. It was very easy to speak to the host and they responded very quickly. Everything was as listed and in the pics. We had an amazing time.

Nice Location on the Suwannee River

This home has comfortable couches and beds. There is plenty of living room seating for a huge crowd. There is an additional couch not shown in the photos. There are plenty of spices and kitchen tools if you plan to cook. There are two refrigerator/freezers. The seating area around the fire pit and on the dock are very relaxing. The river is gorgeous! There is a rooster next door that crows ALL day long. He does quiet when it is very dark outside. You can barely hear him when inside the house. The photos show carpeted floors. There is no carpet in the house. It is all tile or wood floors. The neighbor's dogs usually came to visit as we opened or closed the gate. They did not come close. They were not threatening at all.

Amazing gem of a place!

Absolute gem of a vacation home! Comfy beds and furniture, everything we needed in the kitchen, private location, wifi worked great (didn't seem slow to me even though in a remote rural area), excellent communication from owners. Looking forward to a future stay!
