This house is gorgeous! The beds are so comfy, the kitchen has everything we needed for a family Christmas gathering, and plenty of room for everyone from 95 year old great grandpa to 5 month old granddaughter!

35 year college Reunion

Having stayed in different places around the country This one by far is the best hitting on all cylinders! Spacious And well appointed With all the amenities one could ask for. Considering our large number for our alumni reunion our hosts were gracious in affording us a wonderful space!

Wonderful hosts, quaint home and nice location

We used both the farmhouse and the cottage. Great for a large family or group. Hosts were always quick to respond to inquiries, helpful, and pleasant. Quaint with all the creature features we wanted and needed. Quiet location but conveniently located to the downtown and shopping areas.

Comfortable Perfect Place for Us!

The seven of us Chico State gals (graduates of 1976) thoroughly loved our stay at the Chandler House. Knowing Jackson Pollock lived in this home with his parents and four brothers was certainly not lost on us!! The farm house was roomy enough for all, the beds were very comfortable and it was spacious, clean and well appointed. We loved the original tile still in the kitchen and yet the amenities were new and easily used. The front porch and rocking chairs reminded us of yesterday year! (Even before our time!) The AC worked perfectly! The outside property is lovely as well. Drea and Kris were easily reached if needed…but happily, all went smoothly! We’d love to stay here again!!

Perfect for families with kids

Ideally suited for a group that has multiple people who can share the bunk room (I'm thinking three families with kids who can all share the bunk room and the adults have the bedrooms). Host was very responsive and helpful in all ways. There is no dishwasher so we did spend more time than desired doing dishes but otherwise the house was great from our group. Great location and distance to downtown Chico.

Perfect stay in a large but homey place

Our daughter's wedding brought us to Chico and we found the perfect home away from home for our family and all of the bridesmaids at this property. We had the quiet of the orchard and all the comforts and amenities we needed to keep everyone fed, warm, and happy!

Family gathering at the Farmhouse enjoyed a secure, comfortable, well appointed farmhouse with scrumptious bedding! We enjoyed a large kitchen and dining room for big meals. Andrea was very responsive to questions we had and we’d stay there again in the future!

Beautiful home and perfect for all of us

This home was perfect for our wrestling team and coaches. Everyone fit perfectly in the home. The home was clean and well stocked in the kitchen and bathrooms. We had a water heating issue at the cottage and the owner came right out and fixed it.

Wedding Weekend

Many of my out of state friends stayed with me at the Farmhouse for my sons wedding weekend. It was better than I even anticipated. What a beautiful property. After the wedding we all sat and relived the day in the living room. The Farmhouse had all supplies that you will need and we enjoyed being able to all have breakfast together in the mornings. Thank you to the great hosts for this beautiful weekend.

Lovely and Comfortable Spread in Chico

A group of old college friends and all our kids (aged 7-12) stayed in the Farmhouse for the weekend and we all loved it. Plenty of room for everyone, comfy beds, fabulous porch and big dining room table, good water pressure…all there! Our hosts were more than accommodating with our check in and check out, generously giving our group extra time on each end: great hospitality. Our only request would have been an extra light for the stairs in case kids needed to use the bathroom at night but this actually never even came up in reality so didn’t even turn out to be a thing. Two other members of our group took over the back cottage and it was just lovely to get to all spread out and hang out together again like old times, except this time with our families! This was a special stay. Highly recommend!!

Very Nice Stay For Wedding

We had a family wedding in nearby Paradise and this farmhouse worked well for our extended family. Everything needed was provided and the hosts were very accommodating for our special requests. The drive to Chico was only less than 5 minutes away, and we all really liked the town. For those in need of a larger place to stay, my family recommends this place
