We booked three nights in this appartment but left after two, it was unfortunately damp and musty, the first evening the electricity went off and the oven wouldn’t work, it was freezing cold snd damp, there are no radiators only air conditioners blowing out warm air. We contacted the host and explained the place felt damp and were told it is ‘ normal ‘ in Italy to be without radiators or heating, we know this to be untrue. We were also told the apartment had been empty since October and they don’t normally rent it out until April so why take the booking?? The second day someone came to check on the electrics and dehumidifier , he told us the appartment wasn’t able to have the oven on at the same time as the air con or shower, apparently the wattage isn’t enough and needs upgrading, anyway we would not stay here again, very disappointing we would not have stayed at all if we could have found alternative accommodation quicker, we wasted our time on calls and waiting in for someone to come, we have both caught chest infections from the damp, shame
