On the Ping River just over the iron bridge and a short walk to the Phatr Gate. Family run hotel. Very helpful with good English.

Das Hotel liegt direkt am Fluss Ping. Sehr zentrale Lage zum Night market. Hatten Glück das Treiben am Loi Kratong am Fluss vom Hotel aus zu sehen und hautnah mitzubekommen. Gutes WIFI - Wir fühlten uns wohl. Negativ Betten recht hart Zimmerschlüssel zu jeder Zeit für JEDEN frei zugänglich

A good family-run budget hotel, although they don’t have fully equipped facilities and amenities, the staffs are friendly. There’s a 7-eleven next door, u can get what you need there. Walkable distance to night market and car rentals

The staff was friendly and helped me get my laundry cleaned. No breakfast and no mattress. You read that correctly. No mattress. Others have indicated that the mattress is really really hard. It's not a mattress, its a support platform for a mattress. The most disappoint thing was that the hotel could not assist me with getting a taxi to the airport. Really. I walked down to the Riverside hotel and the person there helped me get a taxi. Next time I am staying at the Riverside. Wish I would have seen it before I stayed here.

Gute Lage zum Loi Krathong
Das Hotel ist gepflegt und die Lage ist sehr gut. Zentral und trotzdem ruhig. Wir waren zum Loi Krathong in Chang Mai und das hotel ist ein super Ausgangspunkt das Spektakel mit zu erleben. Die Matratze ist hart, wer das nicht gewohnt ist mag das als negativ sehen. Für uns einziger Kritikpunkt war, dass die Handtücher die zwar gewechselt wurden nie richtig sauber aussahen. Flecken oder Verfärbungen, wahrscheinlich waren sie sauber aber schon sehr lange benutzt. Das macht bei weißen Handtüchern aber den Anschein von nicht sauber... Frühstück wird auch gegen Aufpreis nicht angeboten. Es gibt aber in der näheren Umgebung einiges an Möglichkeiten. Wir würden wieder kommen.

Mawin hotel - Good value for the money.
Good value for the money. Friendly staff, close to the river. Not to far to walk to old town. They dont serve breakfast, but there is many choices nearby. I had a nice stay and will come back

Nice location but that’s about it
The hotel it’s self was nice but costing around £17 uk a night which is expensive for Thai , given the mattress was like a slab of concrete , no kettle / tea or coffee in the room. Staff allmost rude , don’t say hello as you pass the desk or didn’t seem very helpfull. Just not Welcoming staff

Love the location.
Good location. Situated just facing iron gate and ping river. Walk across the gate and u can reach the night bazaar in 10 minutes. Also, there are cafes serving good breakfast and coffee. Amenities in hotel can be improved though. No coffee and tea and hot water in room though hot water is provided at the lobby.

It was a short stay with this hotel and I feel comfortable. Although the location is not the center of the action it is a walking distance to the night market.

Great location, good price
We could not have picked a better hotel for our 2 night stay. We had free parking in the hotel car park. The staff were friendly and helpful, there are lots of pamphlets in reception with all sorts of activities on offer in the local area and free maps. We were able to walk to everything in the old town and night markets. The room was great for our requirements.

Great location
Fairly comfy bed, nice hot shower and quick walk to markets. Nice view of the river and Iron Bridge, if you get a balcony room. Staff nice, but only one member could communicate with us easily in English. Zero soundproofing- we stayed on a Saturday night and the noise from revellers and crazy drunk people on the river was SO loud. Sunday night, thankfully, perfectly quiet.

Good location for Chiangmai city exploration.
I like the location as it is away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre, yet close enough for the nightly visit to the night bazaar, a typical daily must do for food and shopping. The hotekl reception was polite and helpful. Location is fantastic.

위치가 애매...
나이트 바자가기는 좋다 하지만 그외에는 꽝이다 물론 어느곳이든 한곳이 가까우면 다른곳은 멀어지긴하지만... 나이트바자에서 돌아오는 길이 외지고 점심이나 저녁에 호텔 바로앞에 차가 너무 많이다녀 불편하다 하지만 주위에 레스토랑이 많아서 늦게 일어나서 천천히 식사하면 좋다

Pretty decent hotel for the price.. booked.this for the lantern festival in chiang mai. Room was simple, neat , clean, and room service gave free water. It's centrally locared within walking distance of the old city and several other areas. The sckiter rental are a bit more pricey than you can find in town though.. but this place is a solid 3 star.
