    - is very spacious (full house with 5 large bedrooms);
    - on main street with beautiful view of island & harbour & amazing sunsets;
    - in great shape & spotless;
    - within walking distance of restaurants, grocery store, church & hospital;
    - 20 mins. drive to Cape Breton Highlands National Park on world-famous Cabot Trail
    with spectacular scenery & hiking trails;
    - 10 mins. drive to golf course, beaches, bakery shop & pub with excellent
    fiddle music;
    - 45 mins. drive to famous Cabot Links/Cliffs golf courses in Inverness; and
    - close to trails for snowmobiles and ATV's (head towards Cheticamp & then follow signs to Waterfront Vacation Home).

    Location is very central on Cape Breton Island, only a day's trip to most parts of the island.

Lovely stay in Cheticamp

We enjoyed the lovely waterfront property right across the Cheticamp Bay. House was well stocked and very clean. We had a great stay!

House with a view

Nice older home that is well maintained and clean. Right in town and close to stores and restaurants, yet looks out over the harbor.

Very happy with our stay

We were a group of 8 adults and this house was perfect! Great view and within walking distance to a lot of places. Lots of room for everyone.

Really enjoyed our stay in Cheticamp. House is immaculate and Georgina is easy to communicate with and very hospitable. Location is prime and close to dining and grocery options. Very near park entrance. Would stay here again if ever in the area.

Comfortable, Clean and Central

We had to find a place to say for a family event that weekend and found this spot at an affordable price. The house was more than enough. Being only 3 adults, we only used the upstairs. The house has everything you would need and is accessible to all services being downtown.

Great stay

The home is cozy and welcoming and clean. The beds are comfy, and the location is really convenient. Georgina provided great details about our stay; both to prepare is for the home stay and for touring and visiting Cheticamp. I will try to stay here again when visiting Cheticamp.

Comfortable and convenient stay

We were very pleased with our stay here in Cheticamp. The house was very roomy and we’ll supplied for our stay. We could walk to many restaurants and stores. The drive on the Cabot Trail was lovely. We highly recommend this as a base to explore Cape Breton.

Family get together

A perfect place to stay in Cheticamp. For 2 or 10 people the kitchen has everything you would need. Even a personal note and a treat from the Super Host!!! Definitely would stay again when back in Cheticamp

Great Location

We had 7 adults , 2 children and 2 dogs and were very comfortable with the space. It was exceptionally clean and had plenty of beds and comfortable gathering areas. The location was absolutely perfect for what we wanted to do in Cape Breton. We loved the Gypsum mine hike right by the house. And being so close to the park and Inverness golf. 100% recommend Georgina’s house!!

Nice but one bed sand was in between sheets . Not enough bedding. Lots of plates but not enough silverware to accommodate large groups. Enough though we gave this rating we would definitely come back .

Fabulous place to stay

What a great place to stay! It was spotless and well equipped with lots of utensils, towels, beach chairs and the beds were so comfortable. The home has plenty of room.The location was in walking distance to restaurants and shops. We were on a hiking challenge and what a way to end a busy day but to sit on the front deck and watch the most beautiful sunset. I speak for my group when I say we had the best time and enjoyed staying in this wonderful place Georgina was so quick to respond to any questions and gave lots of information about the home. Perfect weekend and hope to stay again. Thank you Georgina !!

Excellent Location

This property has an excellent view of the water. There is restaurants and small shops within walking distance as well as a seating area down by the water that has benches that you can sit and watch the sunset. There were eight of us that stayed in this home and we were all very comfortable in the home. All the beds were extremely comfortable. Lots of seating in the living room for the eight of us. The kitchen was well stocked. There was full bathroom upstairs and downstairs. Close to great hiking trails. We really enjoyed our stay here. Unfortunately due to hurricane Fiona we had to leave a day early.

Fantastic property located on Cabot trail close to all amenities with a pleasant view and a 20 minute drive to skyline trail. Definitely I would recommend this property for people visiting Cabot trail as this property is very big and spacious filled with all the necessary amenities to have a comfortable stay. The host is such a lovely person as they welcomed us with a homemade sweet and had a nice note to learn about the property and areas to visit in cape breton. I would recommend you to buy your own groceries and cook in the house as the food scene is not so great in that area. Instead of wasting money on eating something which is not worth, it’s way better to cook your own meal and have fun enjoying your vacation. The property is well equipped with all utensils and cutlery’s and one important point is you will not miss home.

Host was very informative and welcoming. The house was perfect for our group. Having the upstairs and downstairs was key as it provided plenty of room. There were more than ample towels, etc and kitchen extremely well stocked. Location was amazing as so close to amenities. We had a 14 month old with us and she also gave it 5 stars! House was spotless! Thank you!!

Earwigs infesting a basement bedroom window. Thankfully there was a can of Raid in a cupboard. Earwigs in the basement bathroom. Many of the couches and chairs quite worn out. One basement bedroom has no window.

Enjoyed our stay

Nice and clean. Lots of dishes, pots etc for cooking. Great location for the park, restaurants. Enjoyed our stay. Appreciated the home made fudge left in the fridge. Went straight to my waistline:) Thanks Georgina.
