From the moment we booked this cabin, the hosts Donna & Doug have been amazing. They were easy to contact and responded immediately with any questions we had. They were very knowledgeable of the surrounding area and so helpful in the planning of the vacation with all the information they sent prior to coming. The cabin was spectacular and the views were incredible. We could really see all the love and time the hosts have put into their home with all the little details and little extras! This cabin had everything we needed for our family getaway. We were so happy to see the holiday decorations on our arrival as well! We hope to come back again one day for the fall season and we would be glad to stay at Dreamview cabin again.

We had a wonderful stay at this dream cabin. Donna was communicative from the moment of booking through to check out. The cabin was inviting, beautifully decorated, and stocked with all the essentials. My kids loved the game room and the playground. The location is perfect. You do not need an SUV to access the property but I would have preferred it for the uphill gravel road. WiFi worked without interruptions and overall a 5 star stay. I highly recommend. We can’t wait to stay here again! Thank you Donna and Doug for making my daughter’s 18th birthday truly memorable. 🥹

Beautiful and well maintained mountain home with incredible views, responsive hosts and clean and comfortable space for our family of 6. We enjoyed everything from peaceful sunrises to roasting smores and playing pool with the kids. Would love to come again!

Such a lovely cabin. The owners thought of everything. From the views to the spacious layout, this is truly a perfect cabin experience. Our family enjoyed everything and we plan to return!

Don’t hesitate to book this gem!! Absolutely dreamy stay with my husband and four kiddos (7,5,3,1). The cabin views are incredible . Had a few sightings of deer running through backyard . My children loved the playground and horseshoe game in backyard . Lots of space to explore safely around the cabin with littles . The game room was another hit. Enough space for us to spread out/allow people to nap while others played etc. Incredibly clean . Decorated thoughtfully . Well stocked kitchen, s'more station with everything we needed to make s'mores . Another huge hit . Collected our own firewood from fallen branches and had the best time making our s’mores in the fire pit. It’s about a 21 min drive to downtown blue ridge which was precious with great restaurants and shops. Mercier orchard was also a wonderful apple picking experience . I can’t say enough good things about this place . Book it !

We very much enjoyed our 2 night stay at Dreamview Cabin. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. The wood-burning fireplace is beautiful. Every area in the home was very clean. We appreciated all of the cute bear details . The mountain view is spectacular, but of course that requires a steep and windy road , in some sections, to reach the cabin. I recommend driving during daylight hours, at least when arriving. Donna responded promptly to questions during our stay. We would book this place again, when returning to this area.

Blissful Mountain Stay

We enjoyed everything about our Dreamview Cabin stay. The property was excellently maintained and the view hard to leave. Our grandkids never wanted to leave the property because of the playground, games and hot tub. The grown ups loved sitting on the porch and reading our books!

We couldn’t have imagined a better vacation spot. The view from the back deck, the location, the amenities, everything was top notch. On top of that the owners were great and very accommodating. We’ll be back again soon I’m sure!

Great cabin for getaway with kids

This cabin was perfect for our getaway with friends and all the kids. The kids loved the game room, playground, and firepit. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking meals. We also enjoyed the wood burning fireplace in the living room, it was very cozy on cold evenings and mornings. The only downside was the long drive down the dirt/gravel road. We got there after dark and I would recommend arriving while it is still light, as the roads are narrow, especially with another car coming the other way. The beds upstairs and downstairs were very comfortable, and the main level bed was ok too. The bathrooms were very nice and clean. We overall had a wonderful stay and would come back for sure!

Perfect place to make memories

What a perfect mountain getaway! From the excellent communication with the host, to the amenities, to the perfect location with postcard views, this place is a step above the rest. I'd recommend this place to anyone. There is absolutely zero negative. What makes it even more special is the attenion to detail that the owners have put in to making sure all the small things that you just don't find at other cabins, like the full towel rack for just the hot tub or the full length mirror in the master bedroom. You can really tell they set out to bring all the comforts of home into their place and it was an awesome stay. Thanks again
