We had a great stay! The cabin was so cozy and had plenty of extras in the kitchen to make cooking easy. The view is incredible and the sunsets from the back deck were a peak of the trip! The hosts were absolutely wonderful throughout the process! The hot tub was also a great addition.

The cabin is tucked away and is in a great location as it is halfway between Blue Ridge and Elijah. The view is absolutely amazing and worth the drive to it. I do recommend a car that is not low and not too big as the road to it is narrow and winding as with most cabins in Cherry Log. I love that they allowed our dog and even had a bed and dishes for him. We cannot leave him at home as he has major anxiety if we are gone for an extended time. The cabin itself was cozy, quiet, and so relaxing for us and the host was quick to respond when we messaged.

Picked this place because of its proximity to Elijah and Blue Ridge plus Helen. The view was beautiful but the road noise was a little distracting while sitting on the great back porch. The road to the house would be tricky at night but we had no problem during the day. The house was nicely furnished and clean. We did not use the hot tub but it’s a nice feature.

Everything about our experience concerning Skye View was great, from first communication with the host, through booking, check-in, and check out, it was all so smooth. This is one of the cleanest cabins we have rented, and so much thought was put into their guests comfort. Games, books, ceiling fans throughout, and the most relaxing deck ever. We grilled, read, relaxed, and just enjoyed time together without a million other things interfering. Definitely recommend this beautiful place!!

The cabin was clean, orderly, and very cozy. The check-in was seamless and communication with the host was spot-on. The view from the deck was outstanding. Everything about the cabin during our 5-day stay was just perfect.

Wonderful relaxing stay!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed a few days in this cabin. The communication between us and the owners was outstanding. Very easy to work with. The cabin was clean. The kitchen was fully stocked. We didn’t need anything. This trek up the Mountain was a little nail biting. The gps did a good job but we needed the written instructions plus help from a nice man walking his dog to find the cabin. Best to arrive in daylight. The sunset view every night was worth the trip up the mountain. We loved the wood burning fireplace. Bring your own wood. The cabin is pet friendly and our Labrador had a great time too. Thanks Steve and Nick for a great stay!!
