  • An incredible motorcycle museum! I found out about the place after seeing it on various tv shows, American Pickers, Chasing Classic Cars, and Jay Leno's Garage, included. Once you get inside, you really don't know how you are going to take it all in. It is huge! All of the motorcycles run and during our visit, the curator was starting and taking random bikes out for a spin. A must see!

It was a nice cabin. My only complaint was there was there was big spiders all above the hot tub and there was lots of little webs with tiny spiders in the back bathroom. Other than that we found the cabin to be very nice and spacious just what we needed for our weekend.

Hibernation Hideaway

This is our second time staying here. We really enjoy this place. Love the fire pit and porch. Everything you need for a great stay. Nice big driveway. Would highly recommend staying here.

Great location

This property was perfect for what we wanted. There is lots of room for the eight people we had staying there. It is in an excellent location. With lots of parking. My only complaint was I assume because the house is older it has a moisture problem and, even the couch and the beds seemed damp the whole time we were there there is a musty smell, but not anything we could not deal with! overall i rate this house Excellent there were no issues with cleanliness. The hot tub looked clean, but we did not have time to use it, unfortunately .

Presidents’ Weekend Stay

Great proximity to restaurants, skiing - the perfect location! We loved the hot tub and fire pit. Vicki was incredibly responsive when we had questions, which I really appreciated. Will definitely be back!

Nice, clean and comfortable

We had a wonderful time. Very nice location. It has everything you could possibly need to cook with. Loved the fire place, warm and cozy. The hot tub was wonderful in November 😊. Quite and peaceful. Will stay there again.

Great weekend!

Great location! The parking came in super handy. Our group had two houses in town and this one was the best hands down. The other house had impossible parking, but this location had ample allowing us to park and transport back to the other house in an SUV. Peaceful, pretty location. The hot tub was amazing after a long day at Eurofest! Highly recommend and will rent again.

Owner was prompt on answering questions and the place was perfect for what we needed. Had everything we needed for stay. Enjoy hot tub. Very easy check in and out and the location in town is perfect no high mnt roads. Will suggest to friends who go to the area

Great cabin tucked away in the hills of Maggie Valley!

Myself and two other guys do two motorcycle trips a year to the Maggie Valley area. We saw this listing and decided to give it a try. So glad we did! Every one of us found this cabin spacious and very comfortable. It’s like visiting your grandparent’s cabin in the woods! Our host Vicki was extremely responsive to all of our communications and needs. Can’t praise her enough! We had no problem finding the cabin. It is nestled on paved roads in a quiet neighborhood up in the hills right off the main drag in Maggie Valley. Quick access to all of Maggie Valley and Waynesville. Even though the parking is gravel, we had no problems parking our motorcycles in the driveway (gravel is well packed). Speaking of parking, there is plenty of it! You could nicely park 3 cars there. On the exterior, the cabin looks to have a wraparound porch; it’s actually 2 porches. There are doors to access each of the porches from inside the house. The back porch is where the Hot tub resides and there is access via both back bedrooms. As I mentioned earlier, the cabin is like visiting your grandparent’s cabin. No, it does not have all new and modern appliances and furniture. We honestly preferred this. It was warm and inviting. Felt like years of decorations were added to give it that perfect feel. The cabin has three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. Two bedrooms with queen size beds and one with two twin beds. Lots of room for people to sleep. The cabin has Wi-Fi and each bedroom

Our week stay was very enjoyable at Hibernation Hollow. The cabin was clean and spacious. It was convenient to all things in Maggie Valley, and a good base for our daily rides in the surrounding area. Communication with the owner (Vicky) was easy, and always positive. I would not hesitate to recommend Hibernation Hollow to friends, family or anyone planning a trip to Maggie Valley.

Amazing Getaway Spot
