Maravilloso

Han sido unos dias idílicos. La zona de los Costwolds ayuda porque es una zona súper bonita pero ha habido días fríos en los que teníamos que volver a casa y volvíamos tan contentos ya que parecía que la casa nos abrazaba para estar calientes, cómodos y felices.

Excellent cottage and location

Very quaint cottage with the river almost at your doorstep. Beautiful countryside and a lovely manor hotel about 5 minutes away if you fancy a drink outside. Just perfect

Idyllic Costwolds Cottage

Cottage located at a uniquely beautiful and original place next to a mill. The cottage is small however comfortable (for 4 adults and two children) and attractive. Walking the area around the cottage along the creek that divides two rows of houses was absolutely marvelous.Response from management prompt and thoughtful.

Lovely traditional Cotswold cottage with an amazing location

We really loved our stay in Lower Slaughter. The cottage was lovely, particularly the open fire and a nice additional touch of the Christmas tree in the living room. The village is idyllic and great to be just opposite the mill. Good walks straight from the door and a short drive to many other Cotswold villages.

Charming cottage in a the most lovely Cotswold villlage

Perfect location for our visit! Rose Tree Cottage was comfortable and we all loved our stay! For visitors, a few tips: first, there were no striped bags for laundry so don’t stand on your head to find them; second, study the garbage sorting procedure before the last minute; and last, rent smallest car that will accommodate your luggage. We four had a several pieces per person and had to get a Hyundai Telluride. It was difficult to fit in parking provided, and driving it on these wonderful country lanes was frightening. Most of our difficulties were self-inflicted! We had a very special time here.

Traumidylle

Fantastisches Ferienhaus, mit wirklich allem ausgestattet. Die Lage ist traumhaft. Die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern lief jederzeit schnell und einwandfrei. Einziges Manko waren die Kellerasseln, die sich leider morgens und abends im Erdgeschoss versammelt haben.

Our Opinion

Typical Cotswold Cottage with low ceilings, large fireplace, comfortable seating. In a picturesque location. Our main problem was the en-suite with no shelves or freestanding storage for toiletries, eg. Shaving equipment. The only option was to use the floor ( not good ).

It's a lovely home in the dead center of a picturesque Cotswolds cottage. The lunches at the Old Mill across the street are worth it. Many visitors walking around in the front of the cottage, due to the proximity to The Old Mill, but they never bothered us.

Quaint traditional cottage

We literally just slept there and had a cup of tea in the morning. With the help of a local we found it. Then had to find the garage which was too small. The locals didn’t like us parking outside the garage (large car) so we had to find a road nearby. Next doors garden is right next to the lounge windows. Kept curtains drawn. Metal framed beds need tightening as they creak just breathing on them and being a nightmare sleeper I luckily found one that didn’t squeak all night. Lovely restaurants nearby that you can walk to. Only visited for two nights but it was perfectly adequate for our needs. It’s well furnished and decorated.

It's a cosy property and that's exactly what we were looking for. It's small and has all you need for the stay. We loved the large fireplace and played board games, visited the old mill across the street and walked to Upper Slaughter. Thank you

Fabulous!!

The cottage is fabulous and location is even better! We had a perfect 3 days. The cottage is much bigger than we expected. Very clean and had everything we needed. The kitchen is very well equipped with the added benefit of a dishwasher. The surroundings are beautiful with a mill and coffee shop immediately opposite that also sells a great selection of gifts, of which the owners were extremely friendly and if you have children they even offer a babysitting service for people staying at the cottage. Parking isn't possible outside of the cottage but its fine to load and unload there. The garage is a short walk away and you will need the directions to find it by car. It has an electronic door and is huge once inside and extremely secure. We will definitely go back again.
