We were in this place for 3 days, the owners are excellent people, they were always on the lookout if something was offered to us, we were always in communication, they were attentive when we arrived to welcome us, we want to return soon.

Cozy Lake Cabin

The cabin was fantastic. It was a warm and inviting atmosphere. Our family loved our stay. The host was so inviting and caring. We had a fantastic time. There was so much fun things to do. Our favorite was the canoe outings on the lake. We had a restful stay and would love to go again.

Beautiful Lakeside Cabin

This is the third or fourth time we've stayed here. Is hands down our favorite place to stay in Birmingham. David is a great host and keeps his property immaculate. Can not wait to go back.

Cozy Cabin Cuteness!

From start to finish this was a wonderful experience. The hosts were very communicative and helpful and the check-in was low-key and easy after a long drive. Our dog loved the pond and the convenient. Location made it easy to visit our relatives in Pelham.

Amazing and Relaxing

My wife and I had a fantastic stay at David's. He was very kind and and even welcomed us in person to tell us about the canoeing on the lake and fire pit. He even went as far as to go to the fire pit and collected sticks and newspaper for us to use that night. Most professional and put together rental I have ever used. Thank you again David.

Nice Getaway

We stopped in for a couple of days on a longer trip. We enjoyed hiking at Oak Mountain State Park and the Dunnavant Greenway.Plenty of restaurants nearby.David was a great host - good advice for hiking locations. The cabin was comfortable and a great opportunity to disconnect for a couple of days.

Relaxing stay

We stayed at this wonderful cabin while visiting oak mountain. It was a wonderful and peaceful stay! There were even fresh little flowers around the cabin which was a nice touch. The hosts were amazing and very attentive! Would love to come visit again sometime!

Quaint and rustic

We so enjoyed our stay. Cabin was cozy and inviting. The flowers from the owners garden was a wonderful touch. The property was beautiful and lovely to take walks and enjoy all the landscaping. Lovely getaway.

Sweet Escape

The cabin was rustic and cozy. The listing was just as described, and the hosts were extremely gracious. I was in town for a Doctor’s appointment and this gem was available. There was some bad weather my first night, and a tornado watch had been issued. My pups and I were invited to evacuate to the hosts’ basement, in the event the tornado warning siren went off. Luckily, it did not. The rain on the tin roof was peaceful. Super comfy bed, too!! I left refreshed and renewed. I will be back, most definitely!!

Oak Mountain Getaway

As we are mountain bikers….the location was perfect. Property owner turned us on to some new trails in the area. (Double oak park) Cabin was perfect for our time there.

The cabin was adorable and host was very nice and welcoming. There were nice, welcoming touches such as flowers, new milk, and creamer in the cabin. We will definitely stay again.

Relaxing and Cozy Peaceful Retreat

Our host was very welcoming from the moment we arrived. The lights were on, and we immediately felt our stay would be perfect. David came over after we were settled in and greeted us. Our supplies were stocked and everything was neat and tidy. We will definitely be back and we’re very happy our fur babies were welcomed as part of our family.

Peaceful Retreat

This was my second time to stay, but I stayed alone this time. Needed a quiet, restful place to refill and reconnect with The Father and myself. The cabin provided exactly that. My cup is now running over and I’m ready for the new year! A wonderful place to stay, and the host is so kind and welcoming. He has thought of everything to make sure your stay is as enjoyable and worry free as possible. I look forward to coming back and staying a third time. Happy New Year!
