Northern Michigan family get away

We were looking for a quiet place to enjoy some picturesque views and family fun. The cabin delivered on all of our wishes. It was clean, quiet, spacious enough for the kids to get some privacy and loaded with necessities and thoughtful details like a game room and cooking supplies. We grilled every night, enjoyed the game room and hot tub. Hosts were available and communicated with us. Thank you.

Cozy northern Michigan retreat on Lake Huron

My family and I were looking for a getaway on one of the Great Lakes to recover from the hectic holiday season and this home checked off all of our boxes! Cozy and comfortable, Lake Huron views, and the game room and hot tub were just what we needed. The kitchen is very nicely stocked with pans and small appliances so meal prep is easy.We look forward to returning in the future!

Quiet retreat

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend together at this well laid out and secluded cabin. Was also conveniently located near a few restaurants, gas stations and a Walmart in case we needed to run out and pick up something. The views of Lake Huron and wooded area around cabin was very nice.

Cozy Cottage - Fantastic Stay!

We loved this cozy cottage just off the shores of Lake Huron and will absolutely be back. The walking trail and beach are just a short walk down the steps to the lake and the cozy fireplace inside made for very cozy nights with a book and games. It was clean, well stocked and the hosts were great at their communication! If you're not a fan of taxidermy, this is not your place but we loved it and can't wait to come back in the winter when the snow is flying and we can walk the trail in snowshoes. Easy check in and out and friendly hosts. HIGHLY recommend!

Wanna disconnect, unwind and take a breath from the daily routine?

This was the PEFECT spot to disconnect from technology. Only a short drive from Cheboygan to the north and an adorable Orchard to the south. Views of Lake Huron were breathtaking, even enjoyed the sun set and moon rise in the same setting. The cabin was rustic, warmly decorated and reminded me of my childhood visits to the U.P. Hot tub was perfect for two, hot, clean and right outside the back door with views of the fall foliage and Lake Huron. A definite return for us. Thank you for sharing your home.

Beautiful cabin and location

The cabin was beautiful with an amazing view! It had all the amenities needed while staying. The downstairs game room, outside firepit and hot tub were a bonus. We were blessed to be able to see the northern lights during our stay. Communication was great from the property manager as well. I'd definitely return to this cabin!

A great fall trip

The lodge was perfectly lovely and Dale was so helpful and responsive. He even let me know when there would be a chance to see the northern lights! This place is a gem and we’d stay again given the opportunity:)

Awesome views, excellent host!

We spent several days here reconnecting as a family. The views were great, we enjoyed the direct lake access, spent some time enjoying the hot tub and the game room was so much fun, a definite bonus for this home! Our host was excellent and provided some great advice for things to do in the area. 100% would stay here again!

A Wonderful, Relaxing Week in Northern Michigan

We had an absolutely wonderful time. Dale was helpful and communicative. The amenities were wonderful, the loft bedroom has some wonderful views (along with the back deck of course). The hot tub was great for the cooler evenings and the place was well stocked for cooking. Well located to get to the UP and other Northern Michigan experiences. Ocqueoc Falls was a highlight for us. Loved that there was very good A/C and pet friendly!

Good Times!

We had a great time, as usual. This is our family’s 5th or 6th visit to the lodge and it did not disappoint! We love the private location, private beach, authentic “Up North” feel, beautiful scenery/views and the thoughtful details that make it an “easy” vacation destination. Most everything you need is there and the host is very responsive and available. Highly recommend. We love McIntosh Lodge!

Perfect Cabin on Lake Huron

The McIntosh Solitude Lodge is the perfect spot to relax, recharge, and soak in the Michigan vibes. Its location is perfect for exploring Northern Michigan, the Upper Peninsula, or Mackinac Island. Nestled in the woods, the lodge offers a stunning view of Lake Huron and is meticulously maintained. Dale, the host, was super attentive and easy to reach. The property comes well-equipped with everything you need, including extras like a hot tub and pool table. We're definitely coming back!
