Exceptional Views, good size home, all the kids had a room so did the Big People .... Listen , when I'm on vacation regardless if its 2 weeks or 2 days,,,especially when the Spot is Well Priced! I'm not doing Laundry , the AC didn't blow Properly regardless of lakeside living,,the Home Overall is Good, no Complaints on the OUTSIDE of Home. It was a little Hot on this stay inside the Home. Oh yeah, we forgot our soap and shampoo,,So Don't forget to bring,,,

Great place! We spent a week here last summer and just finished another week long stay. The cottage is very nice, the neighborhood is quiet, the lake is crystal clear and easy to launch kayaks from the shoreline. We will be back!

If you are looking to get away and relax, this is the place. A lovely older home with serene views. Very clean. Peaceful and relaxing. We had a great stay and I highly recommend; however, people need to know it’s an older home on well water. Those familiar with those types of well know the water has a distinct smell. Not a problem at all for us, but if you are sensitive to such things it might not be the right place for you.

Went Fishing

Beautiful quiet town, beautiful lake, nice place to stay. Only negative is the long drive we had to make from Ga. I wished I had someone to pull my boat so I could have flown haha.

Cozy cottage

My husband and I came to Carrie’s comfy cottage for the long weekend as my daughter was running the full marathon. The cottage was better than expected. It was clean, beds were comfortable. Kitchen well equipped and what a view and lake breeze. We would highly recommend this cottage. Very close drive into town to the restaurants and activities. we especially loved the fire pit, fire works and coffee on the dock watching the sunrise. Thank you Carrie for shot sharing your cottage within.

Quaker Cottage serenity

We truly enjoyed a purely blissful escape to Chaumont Bay at the cozy and comfortable Quaker Cottage from 8/13 to 8/16/24! The hosts were very accommodating and replied to questions quickly. Very well stocked kitchen! The beautiful breezes and peaceful sounds of the water were just what we needed... Our dog, Gracie, enjoyed herself, too! Great location with small stores and restaurants nearby. Clayton and Cape Vincent are a short drive in either direction on 12E with great views of the mighty St Lawrence! Remember to visit Tibbett's Point Lighthouse while in the area. The perch bites at the Crescent Restaurant are fabulous! Thank you, Carrie and Flynt, for sharing your sweet retreat with us! Girls trip

This property was absolutely beautiful! Worth the view alone. The house itself was adorable and cozy! We had such a good time sitting by the water. Location was great for traveling to all the local attractions. I would definitely return for another girl‘s trip or a family vacation!

Thoroughly enjoyable!

The 1920s house is very charming and well updated with nice porches on the front and back. There is plenty of lawn for activities, hanging around the fire pit, etc. There is always a nice breeze, the lake is crystal clear with a nice dock and raft to swim out to. The Quaker Cabin comes with all kinds of watercraft but I brought my own 18 foot kayak and had no problem launching and paddling around Cherry Island, up The Chaumont River, etc. Hoping to return next year!

Vacation

The cottage was quaint and cozy. The view was fantastic. We swam, Kayaked, paddle board and bonfires almost every night. The weather was perfect. Already booked for next year@

Wonderful, Peaceful Cottage

Our family had so much fun at Quaker Cottage! It’s such a beautiful and peaceful little spot. We spent the days outside fishing, kayaking, watching the sunrise/sunset and laughing at the ducks that stayed nearby. Not even the rain could stop my boys from fishing. The neighbors are very nice and the road wasn’t too busy so it was easy to take our dog for longer walks. The location is great because you’re just a couple minutes away from the country store if you need anything. There’s a sign in one of the bathrooms that says “heaven is a little closer in a home by the water” and we definitely felt that :) We hope to be back in the future!

Lovely cottage

We just stayed for our 2nd time at the Quaker Cottage and had a great vacation. The cottage is very cozy and clean. My boys loved fishing, kayaking and paddle boarding down the shore. The property is so beautiful and relaxing and the neighbors are so kind.

What A Great Spot

Beautiful location and pretty close to other sites to see. Be careful to read full description of the property as there is no drinkable water. Neighbors were friendly and the lake was awesome!
